Unresolved Discussions

I was going over some topics where best responses have already been given or awarded. After few discussions, I realized that I, too, have several unresolved discussions. When I clicked on my unresolved discussions tab, I was surprised to see 9 pages of discussions. I have so far, finished 1 page. I don't know how long it will take me to accomplish the rest.
How about you? When was the last time you have awarded the best response? How many pages of unresolved discussions do you still have?

I am not very particular with that but so far about 5 to 10 times Ive noted. I am not keeping track of it but knowing it makes me smile. Expression of happiness, honestly this site is somewhat stress buster and discussing with other is also removing some of my stress.

I think what I am hearing from this discussion is that if we start a new discussion it goes in the unresolved category until we mark a best response for that discussion. Am I correct here?
I've read in the thread that some people like Hiccup have a system for marking best responses. Generally, does mylot give any guidelines to how frequently we should do my responses or how many posts the thread should have before we mark a best response. Just wondering! Thanks in advance for any tips, suggestion, or advice!

Yes aireanna18, you are correct.
There is really no guideline as to how frequently we should mark responses as best responses but myLot encourages us to do so. With regards to how many responses the discussion should have before choosing the best response, it's all up to you. For as long as you have already seen a response that satisfies you maybe.

I still have alot of discussions that need resolved also with a best response. I go through them ever so often. I need to do some more also. I have a few discussions with only a few responses though so those are hard to do.

Hello dolce_vita78 me too like to go through soe of the discussions, where already best responses is given, its cool to know the discussion as well as its best opinion of the mylotter.Well am not that much of an discussion starter, more of responder.Yeah do started some discussions, few got good response but other discussions got less response.Still am making an habiit to keep an discussion unresolved till atleast an week or two.Later i tend to resolve mine discussion by choosing an best response as suitable to me.You too may follow an quick resolving policy as it would create some space for the new discussions with diff views.Enjoy mylotting

Same here. My unresolved discussions have been piling. I should do some, if not all before the end of the month. So that at least some will make the monthly cutoff. Sometimes you just forget things, specially if you're having fun.
I think I have at least 4 pages. I know this because I tried to award some BR's last week.

I didn't stop to count how many "unresolved discussions I have. out of the handful of discussions I've started personally I've awarded best reply only twice. If you are basing this on discussions I've started, it would probably be somewhere in the two maybe three page range. I've replied to more discussions then I've started.
