Oh on my husbands pc it is a scene of water fall as well as hills,flowers and a few trees which is very nice and colour full.On all the childrens lap tops they have got a picture of themselves as a screen saver which they took using their built in web cams.I have not done a screen saver yet as i have been trying all the different settings on it like the webcam and the games that it came with.I think i will have to sort a screen saver out tomorrow.

Lol,mmmmmmmm.I can see that part of the other half anytime i like and to be honest thats not what i want to look at,lol.Thats why i am still up and he is in bed.I may put a picture up of my cats,as that would look nice.My notebook has got blue tooth on it so i will take a picture using my phone then transfer it to the pc,maybe easier todo.

On my laptop I have a pic of Johnny Depp...on my desktop I have a pic of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow LOL. I Have pics and posters and books with Johnny on them all over the house and the walls of my office are covered with his posters. I love to be able to take a break from work and just sit back and see him wherever I look :D

That's cool, LOL.. For me, the background is just either a small printed design or just pitch black. I love pitch black backgrounds, don't know why, ha.. My screen-saver is also black, LOL. Anyway, sometimes I love to put movies background too. That would be awesome. Just like your Wentworth Miller..

I agree with you, but dark colors have always been easy on my eyes..

i think i would find a black screen too depressing and morbid,maybe bright pink or purple,something more cheery

I use Windows Azul as my desktop background. It reminds me of my goal, the freedom lifestyle. The beach. The blue waters.

My computer is not the high end model it's just an old pentium 4 so i use none for my background/screensaver on my computer just a full white plain color. Sure it makes me bored and i really want to change it to get fresh look on my desktop but i want to minimize my computer work so i just stick with my white desktop/screensaver option. Maybe later after i switch my computer with a new one i can use desktop theme or background/screensaver whatever i want.

On my notebook I change the background every 3-4 days :D I like to see different things each times.. The most of the times I use some great picture from national geographic. For example now my background is a lightning near Huntington Beach ^^ it's very suggestive! Have nice holidays!

Hi doormouse, For me, I like something of nature as my wallpaper and it should not make the icons on the desktop unreadable. As for screensaver... I have disabled it. I would manually off my monitor if I will be away from the desk for long. Else I rather not have the screensaver come on. Cheers!
@doormouse (4599)

i've noticed a lot of people have nature as their screensavers

Having sexy men as a background is just sexist lol. I am stuck with the default windows XP background, the one with the grassy hill and the sky.

Well I guess there is nothing wrong with a bit of eye candy to enjoy on the computer screen. I must change mine to something a bit better on the eyes

My background are of photos of natures and beautiful amazing sights which could be found all over the world. It relaxes my mind and my eyes just seeing it changes every day give a positive vibes. Whereas my screen saver were also a photos of famous men and women who are very much active in Hollywood just seeing them cheers me up.

if nature and stuff relaxes you,then keep it on there,whereas for me,Wentworth cheers me up

I just have a background of a landscape. I have to share my computer with many other people I know. I wouldn't feel comfortable with strangers looking at a lewd image that I would put on my computer. lol. I would put only pretty people if I was the only one using the computer.

My screensaver is a picture of my cat Mika. Its a realy cute shot when he is lounging on the sofa and looking very cute at the camera.He is such a character and it makes me smile when I boot up my laptop and see him on the screen.

my cats aren't very photogenic so i'd never be able to get them as my screensaver

Mine changes a lot. Right now it's Betty Page. Bit it can and will change. It was the Stargate from Stargate Atlantis, the Titanic, the Enterprise, a spider ( I just love spiders)you name it what ever catches my eye at the time. That is one of the things I love about the internet, all of the possibilities there are just at you finger tips. I just wish my Grandmother who raised me could have seen it. She loved new things. My Son has a painting of Godzilla on his and my Husband has the cover painting from an old paper back book on his. Now that I think about it time to change my wallpaper.=)
@doormouse (4599)

spiders would be my worst screensaver ever,i absolutly hate them,if i had to choose an animal i'd have a cat(very boring)

Ever since I have gotten this new lap top I don't have anything special on there just the screensaver the manufacturer put on there. I should put something nice on there, but I just have not gotten around to it. At one point I had a picture of my dog on there. A while back I had a Kelly Clarkson collage on there, my husband put that on there though not me, but I liked Kelly at time (still do) so I left it on there.

I am having my grandsons photo as my screen background. Since they are at Singapore,I could not able to see them often. To have a pleasent time I used to open the system and see my grandsons. This is a sweet happenings for me.

I am not into desktop themes anymore now than before. I used to have my recent pictures or my family's portraits on my desktop and laptop but then I somehow forgot updating. Now I dont have anything on my desktop/laptop but the default screens. It's weird but I never really realized it's boring.. lol
@doormouse (4599)
29 Dec 09
if you like it it's not boring,some people may think looking at a sexy bloke is boring,although you'd have to be crazy to choose a boring screen over a sexy male/female lol xx

Hi doormouse, My computer background is a tropical island - palm trees, sunshine, water, paradise really. I couldn't have a sexy guy on there, I would never get past it and get any work done

My screensaver is Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, from a scene in the movie "New Moon." You see, I'm now a member of Team Jacob. :-)

my background is a slideshow of a honda nsx (dream car). It shows the car in a side view with everything closed then the next picture is that the parts of the car which could be opened are opened. I just like how it becomes like a sort of a stop motion clip. Looking at the beauty of the body then the next instant getting a sneak peek of what could be found inside.

cars are ok if you like that sort of thing,but i'd much rather have a sexy bloke
