I have had lobster tails and things made with lobster a lot over the years but it was not until my last birthday that I had a whole lobster. They actually served it with the head on and everything. Have you ever been served a full lobster?

You might be surprised. I used to think that about crab legs, then I tried my first one and it was love at first bite.

Hi there, I love seafoods... yes I was able to be served with a whole lobster... it is very mouth watering... I love its taste very much. but after eating the whole medium size lobster... I think my blood pressure rises. I don't know if it is really true, but they say that lobster is high in cholesterol. Still, I love it so much that I will never regret eating it over and over again even if my blood pressure rises.

I never did until I went to Maine last summer. there was a little stand that was famous for its lobster rolls - they served an entire lobster and a half on a bun with butter to dip it in. To make it even better, the whole thing was shelled for you. It was absolutely the most wonderful thing I have ever tasted- almost two pounds of freshly caught lobster. I hate to think how expensive it was though- a once in a lifetime treat.

For a long, long, LONG time I would not eat lobster at all because I knew they were cooked alive, and I thought that was the most horrible thing ever. Last year I did finally eat lobster, but it was just lobster tail and not the whole thing.

I am not a big fan of seafood. I eat only shrimp, don't really like crab or lobster at all. I don't know why, but when I see crab or lobster I don't feel like eating. I think they look too wired to eat.

No, I have had lobster before but never a whole one. I've been told they are the cockroach of the sea and that's the reason they serve them with butter so it will kill all the junk inside them. I've also been told that its one of the best shell fish, who knows. Glad you enjoyed yours.

I love lobster; I just love seafood in general. People are always surprised at how much food I can put away. I love lobster anything, especially if it is a full lobster. (That's only, because there's more lobster to eat. :])

I had the most interesting experience with a lobster when I was about 15. This was a whole lobster, that I eventually decided after it being in front of me that I could not take a bite. I had travelled to Maine with a friend for the holidays, and my parents asked me to bring back a Maine lobster. I bought a nice big live lobster from a market and had it packaged live, with fresh seafood to keep it happy. I took this poor lobster, which we all named Louie, on the plane, and it was a great funny joke to chat with Louie and be silly. Upon arriving at home it was time to cook my new friend Louie, which we did. My father teased that we heard it scream, and then politely placed my bright red whole lobster in front of me. My mom and dad split it, and I will never name another animal that I plan to eat.
