need a good natural sleep remedy

Anybody know a good natural sleep remedy? Melatonin doesn't get along with me, and valerian root doesn't work for me. Any other ideas?

Do you get 30 mintues or more of exercise a day? When I exercise often I sleep better. Also, I take a HOT bath, and go to bed afterward. As my body temperature drops from my bath, it a natural signal to the body to go to sleep.

I agree! A hot bath after exercising is great! But if you're trying to relax avoid watching tv, playing games, or the computer because those things are mind stimulators.

Okay- i think i get it-excersize, hot bath, and no computer before bed. So how much before bed do i get offline :)?

Play the card game Solitare. I have so much trouble sleeping but when I play this in bed, on a DS, I find that my mind is concentrating on one thing only and more relaxed and I often find myself falling asleep without being aware of it. My mind is always racing when I try to sleep so I have to do things that let me switch off. I also find reading in bed is very helpful, some people will say it is best to read a gentle, relaxing book but I quite often read a horror story with no problems.
