Hi, As we all know money plays the important role in everyone's life. Many people will save money for their future and most of them will not do it. Saving money between the age 25 to 40 will help us in future. But at the same time it's difficult to do that because if we got married and we have child we need to take care on them and we save only some minimum amount. Did you have the habit of saving money. Happy mylotting. Have a nice day.

Saving money is definitely a good habit to get into. I used to try to save a little money here and there when I could, but I haven't really been able to save any since I lost my job about 18 months ago. I have been working in a restaurant since then, and I have been doing odd jobs and stuff on the side, but I am not making as much money as I used to, and it is taking all I can make right now just to keep all our bills paid. I hope to pay off some debt in a couple of months when I get my income tax return back, so maybe I can start saving some money again after that...

aside from saving, i really make my money work for me so i can save more. its a good habit but if you just save it and not use it to multiply at all, the next thing you'll know is you already spent it. i even have this habit that whenever i need to spend, instead of withdrawing from my saving, i'll make use of the money i have to work for me and from the income that i receive will i get the amount i need for spending and of course, i wont forget to save first. happy new year cognoscentethelegend. whew! thats a long username

i get from my savings bank if needed but i always make sure that it will be returned although it seldom happen. any monthly expense that ill be paying will never be put in my savings account. i have a separate wallet where all monthly bills to be paid will come from that wallet. i hate that style of deposit today and after few days withdraw. i also leave an amount which i call revolving fund. from there will i get and work those daily generating income for me.

Hi Cognos, Yes i love saving money. i have a regular job and even a part-time job plus a productive hobby of crocheting. whatever extras i have i save it. for 2010 i will continue saving some more money but this time-- right after receiving the money i will set aside first portion for my savings then spend the rest of it. before i used to spend the money then if there's an extra it will go to savings. what if there's no extra money so there will be nothing for savings right? so now, savings first before wisely spending my earnings. at least i have save some already.

that's what motivated me to continue saving. it's very convenient--no pressures but will always give you bonus in times of emergencies you will always have something to rely on as far as money is concerned. you are right--big or small it will still be something to add on and will be counted later that contributed a lot in our savings at the end of the year!

Really that's very good. You can save what ever you can do. Even it may be a small amount at some time and large amount at some time. After a long time we will realize the worth of saving.

I am actually careful when it comes to money. I am still 21 but I already have my own savings from the salary I am receiving in my current job. I am not comfortable thinking about losing money. I did save some amount of money in the bank and hoping that it will grow more. I love it when I know that I have extra money so there's no need for me to worry. I am proud to say that it has became my habit. I believe that saving money is very important especially for future emergency purposes. I am still single but of course I am not closing the possibilities of having my own family in the future. i don't want my children to suffer from poverty and so I started saving money from now.

Ya, you was correct. When we deposit our savings money in bank, we will get interest for some period and it starts to grow in enormous way. But i think, when i get married, i doesn't have enough money to save.

My husband and I try to save as much money as we can. We don't bring in much, so by the time the bills are paid, there is not much leftover at the end of the month, but we do manage to save atleast $50 each per month, so that's $100 a month into our savings accounts. Not bad, for people on a low income.

I have had the habit of saving money since being a very young child when I discovered that if I just put away a small amount each week from what my parents gave me, the time would slip by and I would find myself with quite a nice little amount. I still do the same now and I feel it is a good habit to have developed in my life. - Derek

My husband saves a portion of each check to an investment account that we can't touch. that's our retirement fund. I also save to a bank account for rainy days. That money is used for emergencies. The system works pretty well for us.

Don't be like that. My suggestion is don't continue to spend your money that you have earned. because it will not help to save us our life in future. If we need to lead a happy life then we need to save some of our earnings.

Sometimes I believe you need to take the ratio of inflammation into consideration. When it is in a blooming or fluctuating economic situation with high inflammation rate, saving money equals to lose money as time goes by because the increase of your money in bank cannot counteract the devaluation of your money. So the ideal considerable way to deal with your extra money is to multiply it into various fields like bank, company bond, and stock market and so on

Automatic withdrawals from your paycheck is the way my husband is putting money away in his 401K. I don't work in the summer, since our girls are on vacation, so I just opened up an ING account to save 10% of whatever I make to help cover the summer expenses. Happy New Year!

Absolutely. I keep no less than $1000 dollars in my checking account at the bank, at all times. Second, I have a separate savings account, which I keep roughly 6 months worth of expenses. This means if I lose my job, and have no income at all, I have enough money to pay for food, electricity, heat, and house, for 6 months. I have never been unemployed longer than 1 month, so I figure 6 months worth of cash should last me long enough to find another employer. Finally I have an investment fund. I can put upto around $6,000 dollars into it a year. That money is invested into various stock markets, both inside the US, and around world. I had a 6% increase from last year on it, which is good given how bad the economy was. Yes, I absolutely save money. No one else is going to save money for you. You have to do it your self, or when you lose your job, or become too old to work, or if you get sick, you'll be broke and poor. I do not want to end up in a government poor person home. Those places are awful.

Hiya cognos, You can try to save Money but I reckon that you would be very lucky to be able to save some or anything now. We are selfemployed and are only entitled to a minimum of less than 300 Euros a month for the both of us if we decide to call it a Day so although I could save a little bit it would not cover a weeks expenses. Time to go back to living in the Caves?
