I eat a lot of soup and drink a lot of hot cocoa. What do you eat and drink? What is your Favorite thing to eat and drink? I love my cocoa with marsh mellows. Have a great day.

I probably drink more than I would in the Summer months, mainly hot drinks, I like hot chocolate which is very warming and it also helps me to sleep as well. I tend to be a big eater regardless of the weather, but that is because I do a lot of training at the gym so I need to eat a lot of carbs etc as fuel or to replace the energy I have burnt up. I tend to go to the gym more in the cold weather. In the cold weather and snow when I find that I can't go out, I like to have cosy nights in with a few dvds and my favourite snacks, I like chips, especially tortilla chips.

I drink a lot of hot chocolate too. I also like tortilla chips with mild salsa. Staying in and keeping warm is my favorite thing to do in the winter. We are getting snow as I wright this, but at least it is going to warm up and be gone in the next few days. Thank you for answering.

We had a blizzard here on Christmas eve and there is about a foot or more of snow still on the ground so it was hard for me to get out for a few days, but luckily, I tried to stay busy so I would stay away from all the food I made! Thank goodness I don't like sweets that much so I let my husband and kids eat all the cookies, pies, cakes and candies and as of last night...they are gone!!! The only things I can't resist, if they are in the house, are pizza and cheese so I try not to buy those things very often. My favorite thing to drink is coffee and I can't start my day without it. I've cut way back on how much I drink lately, so right now Im down to about 3 cups a day which is a big improvement from the entire pot of coffee I used to drink!

My family complains because I was already eating like a horse before winter time. Now they are not sure if I am human because I eat so much. My reason though is because I do a lot of activity outside in the cold, so I am using more fuel to do the same thing (well I don't have to push a truck in the snow in the summer). Also, because I have gotten bent on packing on as much muscle on me as possible, I am now the biggest, strongest, and heaviest person in the house and I have the largest appetite. I like bulking up because I can eat so much. For example, we make two pots of chili in my house, one for me, one for everyone else. I don't use a bowl to eat it because what's the point. We buy soup from Costco because I would have to make 8 cans at once and hopefully get through the next couple of hours. Since I also lift weights and made a habit out of using the cars in my house as weights (can't lift one), the only item I care to eat is everything in sight. No one touches my food fearing that I will kill them and eat them. Try fueling muscles in the winter, and see how easy it is to clean out a fridge.

Where I live, it doesn't usually snow this time of year, but it does get quite cold. I have to say, I am starting to eat more. I think it's because I'm at home a lot more often than before. Plus, it's winter break for me, so I don't attend school for a while and therefore I don't get much exercise. I don't go out as much. I think even my friends are too lazy to do anything else besides staying at home. I try to set up fun get-togethers but not everyone is responding so I don't really know if we'll end up doing anything in the end. Anyway, I think I'm going to end up gaining a lot of weight before I go back to college.

I have been eating a lot more since it got cold out. In fact I have managed to gain twenty pounds in the past month or two. I think this is in part because in the warmer weather, I spend more time outside and being active. In the winter, I am bored and can not go outside and find myself just eating to stay occupied. I ate a big turkey dinner tonight, had seconds, then came home and had a bag of popcorn. I just went to the store to get a pint of ice cream and finished the whole thing. I still want more. I want to order pizza now. I also think that in the summer months, I eat healthier foods like salads and fruits because they do not require cooking and are refreshingly crisp. in the winter, I like to bake since I am in the house. It gives me something to do and makes the house smell nice. Plus I like to eat warm or hot foods in the winter.

I know I find myself doing the same thing. I am trying to stay with soup, it is healthier than other food. I buy frozen veggies and use them in the soup. Have a great New Year

I like to drink hot chocolate a lot too when it is cold, it warms up my insides. Yesterday I had a nice big bowl (OK two bowls), of cream of wild rice soup, it was so good. I actually have found myself eating a lot more lately, which is probably not a good thing. We suppossed to start a diet on Monday though so hopefully the diet food will be satisfying enough, and I hope I can have a cup of hot chocolate every day, otherwise I will have to have some tea.

I think it's natural for us to eat more in cold weather- our bodies burn more calories by trying to keep warm. In the winter, I find myself drinking a lot of hot chocolate and hot chai tea. I also like warm freshly baked cookies! w
