i don't know if i had ever eaten lobster as a small child but i remember my reaction when i saw them in a fish shop when i was about 9 or 10. and it is rather pathetic - i suddenly realised they were still alive and got very upset. (i haven't changed that much since then in some ways i am sorry to say, although i certainly wouldn't pass a food shop go 'poor lobsters' and be on the edge of tears now...)

You were just so compassion even when you were only a kid and tha's why I will invite you to be my first mylot friend of 2010.I think my culture is different since we love to eat fresh seafood and everyting is alive in the seafood tent.Nobody will cry for a lobster or an oyster even when they are alive.People just love to eat them and will use all kinds of method to enjoy these seafood and you are the most compassionate person that I have ever known who will be so friendly and care for the life of a fresh seafood. You are a person that need to be build up friendship with.Happy new year,my new friend^_^

I think lobster is very good. I buy it when I get the chance and have a nice meal for me and my family. I haven't been able to buy lobster in a long time now. The first time I tried lobster was in 1992. I had to boil the water and put the live thing in it. That part was a little hard because I hate to kill things.

I like going out to eat at a buffet to. I like to stay away from the port to much fat in it. Don't get me wrong I do eat it but not as much as I use to. I eat a lot of chicken and fish and vegetables. I like a lot of Chinese food dishes. I do eat some seafood but I have slowed down in eating that to. Have a great day.

Yes,I don't like to kill the lobster too. That's why I will always have lobster in a buffet after some cooks have already kill the lobster for me^_^.I think if we want to enjoy seafood,we have to finish their life before we have nice seafood to eat.In fact,I like to eat buffet even better.Because you can eat lots a nd lots of food with all kinds of mixtures.Suzi,Soup, beef, chicken, porkchop and of course seafood, etc.Eating is one of th most enjoyable pleasure in my life except it costs money.Have a good day.

Hi, wildlittlefan. My first impression of lobster is that it looks nasty and scary looking. It looks like it will move and snap as it is fully cooked on a plate. It still looks alive when it is cooked. It reminds me of a gigantic cockroach.

I think your imagination is so funny and I haven't thought of that before,ha ha ha!I don't think the lobster looks so nice, neither mor it looks so terrible.I think their taste is okay and I am not too crazy with it ,only when it is cooked with different style and B.B.Q.Then I would love to have it for my food.I usually meet them in the buffet and enjoy one or two .Some of them are very small and you will laugh at them when you see the small one.Anyway, think it a little bit comic and cartoon like, and they will look a little better in your mind.Have a nice day cream97.

I don't remember how old I was when I first had lobster...but I know whenever it was, I was hooked! My mouth is actually watering right now just thinking about it, and it's been years since I've had any. I think lobster is absolutely delicious but it's just so expensive, not many people are able to eat lobster on a regular basis. My second favorite seafood is scallops....I think they have a taste that is a lot similar to lobster and they are not quite as expensive, so whenever I get the chance I buy them or order them at restaurants...and now I'm SOOO hungy for seafood!

YES ,I agree with you .Lobsters are delicious but they are expensive.Sometimes ,I wish that I am living in a place where is closer to the ocean such as Newfoundland of Canda or Norway where fishery are one of their major industry.I think we will all enjoy great seafood such as scallop ,fish, crabs, shirmp and of cousre lobster from these places with a much cheaper prices.Oops, and you know what?Oh,my mind is already in those placees right now while I am talking to you.Oh,decicoius sea food ,oh,I can't wait any longer.....!Yummy,Yummy.....Happy new year^_^

Ha ha ha...it is funny.I think when we were only a kid,we surely don't know how to distinguish a crab and a lobster.I think kids will sometimes mix up with shirmps od lobster too.I hope that when we share our experience with our next generation, they will learn and laugh at our experineces at the same time.Mmmmm.I tam not sure when will I be able to have lobster again but one think I will promise myself,I will eat it with happiness^_^.

Well, my first experience eating a lobster was pretty dissappointing. I'm not a big fan of seafood, so I knew it would happen anyway. Lobsters almost don't have taste, and they don't look very tasty either in my opinion. Can't be helped, there are as much people as tastes in the world.

Frankly, I was scared. I saw a multi-colored lobster and it looks poisonous (looks only) like those multi colored snakes and frogs. ha ha ha
