is windows 7 worth it (to replace my XP)? or over-rated? / myLot

what do you think of windows 7? which is better XP or 7? does it worth it to replace my XP with 7? or 7 has been over-rated due to its mass advertising? or over-rated due to the biggest disappoints of microsoft history from vista? which is it? what is your opinion about windows 7? for those windows 7 users.

i have been using WIndows 7 for about a month now, i havent had any issue yet. No issues with hardware or drivers. Its very smooth and pleasing to the eye. Yes, you need to look at the minimum requirememts.

Siriously I dont like Win7 or winvista both are too new and have a lot of bugs, softwarez not compatibles and stuff.. I will just get WindowsXP wit the latest update and instal a win7 skin on my winxp ;] good luk! Kenny Herrera

I have not tried win7 or even vista. But as of now, I'd stick with my xp rather than changing it to new OS which will be expected to have a bunch of flaws in it knowing it's a new release. In addition, software available for win7 are still limited and kinda sophisticated. XP works fine with me and not just because there a new hot comer in town, it does not justify for me to go along with it.

I prefer win 7.Of course, win7 is worth to replace xp.Win7 is the aggregation of win vista and xp.It has both vista's and xp's advantages.
