Do you agree with what is happening or do you think it takes away the restaurant people's rights to serve whatever they want? http://topnews.us/content/29471-restaurants-be-fined-1000-using-trans-fat

hmm i think this is not good i mean people should be given freedom wahat to sell its up to the consumers if they want to eat foods that is high in fat. this is difficult because many establishment has products that are very high in transfat like cake shops and sweet shops hmm

Not to mention interfering with ones right to eat what they choose. With all the things going on in this country at the moment this should be way down on the list of things that need government interference..It rates right up there with putting extra taxes on things the government considers to be junk food. People should have the right to choose what they want to eat or drink, even if it is bad for them, we can't and should not regulate the way people live their personal lives. How much is it going to cost to check and see if the restaurants are using trans fats? Can California afford to enforce this? And will the state be able to afford to support the people this will put out of work when restaurants start closing rather than take a chance of being fined or decide they would rather close than deal with the added regulations? Our tax dollars at work..again?
