Do you ever wish pokemon were real?

I know my husband wished that pokemon were real. There are a few that he really likes as he has been a fan of the series for years. He is looking forward to the new installment coming on the Nintendo DS.

That's funny to read that your husband wished they were real. When I look back, it seems like yesterday I was a little kid playing Pokemon on Game Boy but it was more than 10 years ago. Jee, someone stop the time please, we're getting old.
Yeah I too wished they're real. I even liked to think that the creator Satoshi Tajiri actually saw them on some island or something so he was inspired to make the game hahaha

It would be awesome if they were real! I'd want to be a real Pokemon trainer as well, though I don't know how well I would fare, as I am sure to end up just catching cute ones LOL!

I shared what you are saying. When i was a kid i dreamed pokemon were real. I even had dreams where i travel and became the pokemon master. Once i imagined scientists created pokemons and the whole system, though in here pokemon were all artificial (kind of like machines).

omigosh yes, I mean, think about it, battling, training, catching, trading. man that would be awesome. you also get to have a good friend for life (like a pet but a pet that understands you) if pokemon was real I would choose charmender. I don't know why but they are soo cool, strong and cute.
but anywayz back to reality, if you have a ds, are you planning to get heart gold/soul silver. it's sooooo cool.

I wish they were real only when away from humans. as they might be dangerous enough for us.

Yeah I really do. Think about how awesome it would be to have little friends with you that could breath fire and surf on water and what not. Plus a lot of those pokemon were really cool looking and you could gain money by battling. That would certainly change our mundane world a bit though.

If you think about it, pokemon is kind of the equivalent to animals. We have fish like goldfishes, salmon, etc., and they goldeen, magikarp, etc. We have birds like eagles, crows, owls, etc., and they have pidgeys, spearows, noctowl, etc. I think you get the point. In the pokemon world, pokemon are the animals and in reality, animals are like pokemon. So I guess to answer your question I would say we have certain species they don't have, and they have species we want.
