Money where I live circulates longer in my state than I thought is one thing I learned. Another is that CT only has 8 counties. It's a pretty big state, but only 8 counties. NY State has 62 counties. On wheresgeorge.com, 9 of my bills have gone to 5 New York counties and 2 CT counties. What's weird is that I thought I would have all kinds of Vermont entries by now, but I haven't. I even put gas in my car in Vermont one day and left a one there. No one has entered any dollars from me there yet. My part of NY and northern to mid-VT do a lot of business, so this is a surprise.
New dollars usually come out every three years, 2003 had ones, 2006 had new ones. Should be interesting to see if any 2009s come out. We may not see them until mid 2010.

Texas has 254 counties with various populations - 3,693,050 in Harris Co to 67 in Loving Co.
Yes, 67, there is probably a good chance that Loving county won't be around a lot longer, its the kind of place you would've seen as the setting for The Last Picture Show http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Picture_Show

It's amazing the different number of counties from state to state.
Reminds me of a town we have up in the mountains, population 100 in summer and 9 in winter. It's near a river and a pond.
Yes, hard to sustain a county with that few people in this day and age.

The more I have the more I need. 
and it certainly does not buy happiness. Some jobs are not worth the money they earn. Actual facts about money, I only learn what people tell me online, like your post here, I learned about money and about the geography of your region.

All very true. All the charts at Where's George for all the things about money and all the forums, etc. I feel like there is sooo much that I never knew.
