Hi Mylot Friends, I am just curious to know idf anybody from here experience finding the something in their food and what you did about it? I want to share the following experience with you in seeing something from following food and drinks but sad to say i just ignored it...only now i realized thaty i should take it seriously and make a formal complain about it. 1. a fly in my noodle soup - served in a restaurant. i called the attention of the restaurant manager and he apologized and did not charged us. he offer to serve us a new but we declined and leave the restaurant. 2. a piece of cork inside the softdrinks. i just threw the softdrinks. thats' all. 3. a staple wire in the corned beef. i did not noticed it but as i sauteed it with onions i noticed a staple wire in the meat. i just throw the whole of it andnot do anything about it. three in a row but i never make a formal complain to sue the company. How about you friend what is your experience if you have And what did you do about it? did you exert extra effort to report the case or think that it's just a hassle?. please share thanks.

Thanks jonjee for the additional suggestion to prevent hair from falling. missybear will surely appreciate this as she continues to enjoy his boyfriends recipes. Missybear, you are so lucky for having a boyfriend who loves to cook.

Never experienced something like that at restaurants. But did experience it with one of our neighbors. To be fair, they didn't expect us. We were new to their place. Possibly their maid didn't turn up that day. We were forced to wait up for somebody to bring the keys to our apartment, which was adjacent to theirs. The lady served some tea, and there was a fly in that. Papa said drink it up because if I pointed it out, the lady would be forced to prepare once again. And so I did that. :(

Hi Vandana, What? you did drink the tea with fly in it? you are crazy for doing that. i will find ways not to drink it and be kind enough to tell her that there's a fly in the tea. It's not to embarass her but at least she's aware of it. i know she will understand where i am coming from and be grateful that i was honest and brave enough to tell her (i hope so).

I've never had the problem, am happy that I haven't, but I would report it under some circumstances. Depends on what it is...

You're right Dawn. i realized that late. so for future events like this i know what to do. I am ready-- i have a list of people whom i will contact and report such incidents. i will not let any thing like this one or similar to this pass without giving them a lesson.

Man so many have happened to me now that I realize it. There was the fly in my salad at olive garden. I just got it for free and I stayed to finish my meal. There is the numerous hairs I have found in countless places. With this I usually decide if it is actually in the part I am going to eat any way. If not I dont care, if it is I tell them and demand another. Applebees I had some hairs off a cleaning brush. Only part that sucked was I noticed it AFTER i drank it. told them about it and got my meal free.

Hi Tap, That's really a lot. Looking back, we should make extra effort to report this not only allowing them to appease us with having a free meal. you are assertive enough for asking a replacement. the fly, the hair --they're hilarious violating hygiene in the kitchen. poor kitchen supervision and management. they deserve to be sued but it's too late. i just hope this will not happen again to me or else-- i will see them in court.
