Hi shoyebshaikh, not everything about Hollywood is great, and not everything about Bollywood is trash. I love music so I like musicals. There are some movies from Hollywood where the entire story is conveyed through songs. Can't leave the sofa then, can I? :) But in general, I prefer Bollywood - older movies. Latest ones are trash again. :)

Hi there is no issue about who is making movies for fun and who is making serious ones. The ones who make serious ones should go to documentary category and sell their stuff to Discovery, History channel, BBC, and National Geography. We go to movies to be entertained, and that is what I expect! As to Hollywood movies, the reason I like them is they are comparatively realistic - most of the time.

well ma dear friend HOLLYWOOD MOVIES ARE NOT MORE REALISTIC FILMS they show only graphics and technolgy which they want to show to other countreies where else BOLLYWOOD movies refl;ect the rich culture and heritage of india!!!!!!!!!!!!
so ma dear friend u should take interest and see bollywood moviues and not hollywood movies

Bollywood movies reflect more Indian heritage & culture whereas Hollywood is about showcasing technical prowess. In other words, hollywood movies are more fictional than reflecting a particular culture. Both woods are unique in their own ways....as we say we cannot compare apples to oranges.

no ma dear friend what actually means the graphics of HOLLYWOOD is better than bollywood and they(bollywood) can not cope up with the HOLLYWOOD so ma dear friend i totally dis agree wid u and hope u see into it!!!!!!!!!!!
