Have you ever been an exchange student? Or do you want to?

I was an exchange student in Vienna for 5 semester, and I had really great fun all of them. I had to take some extra classes when I got back to Norway to make sure I had enough exams, but it was worth the extra time. 3 of the semesters I just studied whatever I wanted, which was also great. I went to lot of conserts, opera, exhibitions and made some really good friends that I still visit 12 years later. What about you? Have you ever studied outside your native country? Did you have a good time?

ive always wanted to be an exchange student, but unfortunately the schools that ive been to didnt have such programs, like it wasnt really popular coz we're not located in the city. until now that im already in college and 1 year to go before graduating, i still have that excitement to at least become an exchange student, or at least study overseas by myself like taking a masters degree, even though i know there's a small chance for it to happen.

I would say go for it if you get the chance :-) Or go abroad to work, I'm thinking about doing that for shorter or longer time.

When I was a kid I really wanted to be an exchange student, but my parents never allowed me. That upset me a lot, I must admit. In the end, by myself, I was able to study in a foreign country, so I'm glad that when I turned an adult I could do that.
