For me I could live without my TV because I hardly watch Tv anyway .I will admit though that many times keep my Tv on even when I am on my computer but that is only because I sometimes take a glimpse at it from time to time . Which could you live without ?

I, much like you, could do without my television. However, I'd go craz(ier) without my computer. I like a noise in the background, but it doesn't have to be a television!!! A couple of years ago my dog ate through the cable that connects me to my cable company. I didn't miss the television that much. I did play a lot of CDs on my computer to have some noise. However, I did MISS the internet & myLot terribly!!! I can find the information I hear on TV on the internet without any problem. Even though I've not become very savvy doing it, I understand I can watch any television show on my computer. So giving up my television wouldn't be that big a deal!!!

Definitely my TV. In fact I often suggest that we get rid of it but my family is opposed. I do have a TV on my computer too. But with all the watch again programmes and sites like Youtube it's pretty hard to miss anything from the TV anyway.

i'm exactly the same i can live without t.v, sometimes..... i hardly watch t.v i'm mostly at the p.c but i keep it on sometimes to see what's on and only take a glimpse at it. I spend way more type on the p.c than the t.v because i dont have cable but that's fine because i dont watch much t.v at all.

Hi Ronnyb, it's been awhile since I've seen a discussion from you! Well In any case, I'd have to say that I could live without the television for t.v. programs as I hardly watch that anymore. When at home, I'm online making money or playing video games. I'd much rather just come here from time to time whilst I have free time so that I can make money for hubby and my future.

I could do without my TV. I am on the computer constantly and what I watch on T.V. I can see on the computer. So, my T.V. can go anytime. I hardly watch it when I am on the computer. I spend most of my time on the computer. So, I can use the T.V. as an computer.

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Well, for me under the circustances, I can watch ordo only one at a time, as both are in different rooms. TV room is different, also, if I am not watching, why to keep it ON.But I can not live without Computer, and can always remain without TV. I make myself religiously devoted to TV. May God bless You and have a great time.

The answer to that is easy. I only pay for cable TV because my wife and daughter like it. If it vanished I would not personally miss it. I watch CNN for about 15 minutes at a time. After that it starts to repeat itself. The rest of what is on television I can do without.

Yeah, me too! I could do without my TV, because I can see everything on the internet and I don't need to watch any TV. Also all on TV is already so commercial that I become disgusted from it!

I would choose the tv as well. The computer has too many other functions, and it could provide the things I currently get from the television. The tv would not be an equal substitute for the computer.

The computer would be a tough one to live without for me. Television, not so much, as I can count on one hand the number of times I watch television throughout the month. Without either, I would do a lot more reading. Perhaps I would go outside and walk a lot when it was warmer. I bet if I did not have a computer, I would sleep in a bit longer, because I would not have the option to get up and turn on the computer. Still, it would get boring after a while. There was a time where my computer was out for a couple of days because it crashed and it was torture.

I would have to say that I would prefer to do without the T.V. My laptop is my lifeline, I think and I would not enjoy being without it for any length of time. Most programs that are on T.V. can be watched on the computer anyway and it is easy to keep up to date with news etc on the PC too! I earn money with my laptop too so I would definitely miss it a lot more than television!

as long as I have my phone I really don't need my computer but my computer is how I get my extra money. I don't really think I could do with out either one come to think about it. I can't go to sleep with out a tv on. so i don't know.

I could live without both as long as I have enough books to read. If I were to make a choice though I would say the computer.

For me, it would be the television that would be the first to go. I use both on a daily basis, but I spend far more time using the computer than I spend watching television. Besides that, there is really nothing productive that can come out of watching the TV but when you are on the computer there are several ways that you are able to make money so that is another reason that I think it would be more important to keep the computer.
