Yes, its true! I went out to my car this morning and there was NO frost on the windscreen and the temperature was just minus 1. Better yet, I came out of work just after 3pm and, despite the snow thats still on my car roof the temperature had soared to a blistering PLUS 2. I did have a bit of trouble reversing over the snow into my driveway but hey... its 15 degrees higher than it was a few mornings ago
Any let up where you are (assuming you've had cold-ish weather)?

Okay, I'll quit complaining that it has been 17 here all week. Guess it could be worse. The sun was shining all day yesterday and it was still too cold to melt any of this snow piled up aound here. The weather man is saying that we can expect it to stay below freezing for most of this month..no January thaw for us this year.
Thanks for reminding me that a 17 degree day can be considered a belssing.

Here in Central Illinois, we've had some harsh weather. It hasn't risen above the single digits in days. And the windchill is even worse, reaching negative temperatures. Fortunately, there is some good news. Twenties and early thirties temperatures later this week. Of course, that just means a calm before the tempature gets busted down even further than ever before.

North west England. It was minus 13 on the dashboard display when I went off to work the other morning and this is the first day I've seen it above freezing point for over a week but, to be fair, it hasnt affected me too much as most of my route to work has been well gritted. Getting out of the driveway was the hardest bit!

I'm talking centigrade with zero as the freezing point. Are you talking fahrenheit with 32 as freezing point??
