How Do You Pass The Time When You Have To Wait?

Do you think, plan or do something like reading a book? I rarely mind waiting because I always have something in my purse to do while I'm just sitting or standing. I usually have a book, magazine and my knitting in my purse. I'll even take a magazine when I have to wait for my apartment elevator. If you don't do anything while waiting, what do you think about? Are you thinking about the people around you, problems, plans, etc.?

For me, I normally read...if I have planned well, I will brng my latest craft project with me (knitting or crocheting). Normally I just stick to reading the waiting room magazines as I normally have to keep an eye on my 2 year old daughter who likes to run riot.

I used to keep at least one book on my bag so i can have something to read while passing the time of waiting to someone. And actually i always bring along my lappy with me when i feel i want to surf or check my mails while im waiting, in my location wifi is everywhere you can connect to the free wifi anytime, anywhere so won't feel bored while waiting. Happy Lotting and God bless!

In Drs offices, I usually read magazines. It's amazing how many different magazines that you can find in different Drs offices. I love National Geographic. That's the best for me to read. Reader's Digest is pretty cool. Sometimes I read other types like Better Home and Gardens, but mostly I like intellectual magazines.

Honestly, it's really hard to wait for a time to pass by with out noticing it. That's why everytime I'm waiting for something or someone, I just enjoy what the things that I'm doing because it's a very helpful way to wait with out noticing the time. It's somekind of technique where you must enjoy in order for the time to be fast. In this case, after awards you will see that the time is already at exact given minute. Honestly, for me it's true because I already experience it many times. In addition by sleeping you will not notice the time. It is also one kind of way to spend time with out notcing it. It's true! I know you also tried and experienced it.

You could get your self a game boy or a PSP or any portable console to play and make time pass faster. Or buy a newspaper and read it. When I'm alone and have to wait somewhere, I just think about my life and about what I want to do in the near future.

If there is nothing handy (books, magazines, music player etc.) with me to pass the time of waiting, I generally submerge in deep thought of Allah, the creator. And to me, it's the most enjoyable method of passing the time.

passing time while we wait can be trying at times. Most of the time I can be solaced with a word search puzzle book. Other times i liked to grab a romance novel and drift to another place and time. The circumstances of the wait and how much time determines which path I take.

Well, I always carry my iPod with me, so whenever I have to wait I just listen to music. I really love music so it's really not a big deal for me to wait. Sometimes I would read a book too, but that's when I have my book with me. I can get impatient sometimes but that only happens when I don't do anything while waiting. Haha. But sometimes when I don't have anything with me I think of many things. I must say I am pretty preoccupied with things. I can think of anything under the sun. It could be just outside the box. Anything, really. Haha. Take care!:)

waiting in Que,to fetch something,to meet the doctor is to be utilized properly as the time is being deducted from our life span.. thinking about problems and other things when you are waiting is not good because when we think to some extent we forget about our physical presence..so it might be dangerous or harmful particularly in some cases ..the best thing is reading magazines..if you finished an article or news analysis then it will come to mind..oohh!!! waiting time is used properly..reading books is not bad..but magazine reading is preferable over the first one...

I hate to wait. I have no patience for anything. But when I have to pass time, like the time I stayed in a line for 12 hours for a rock show, I would just listen to music, play on my labtop, think thoughts, ummm I hate to read, I would twiddle my thumbs, talk to other people around me, ummm I would eat. Lol I dont know. Anything to keep myself busy and from dying of boredom. Because trust me, boredom kills like no other

I take a long newspaper or a magazine if I expect long waits. Some times , it comes pretty much unexpectedly too. I wouldn;t have any thing with me to read and pass the time away. That's when I do my favorite, "Yoga" meditation. I would find a nice place and start meditation. That also helps in getting rid of the mental stresses caused by frustrating long waits.

Whenever I don't have any material to read or things to do (it felt really bored), I just keep watching the people passes me, I usually think about their appearance and their personality or eavesdrop to people talking near to me. If there is no people around me (and I felt safe), I will just close my eyes and start daydream thinking about the future plan.

I usually think about people, problems and make plans when I have time to spend. While most people pass their time on travel or waiting with books, magazines or computer games, I can only do something without using too much of my eyes as I always get dizzy when reading on bus or on train and my weak shoulders prevent me from carrying anything heavy for too long. Hence, I normally won't have anything other than wallet and a bottle of water in my bag. There's no ipod or cd player either. Thinking is probably the only thing I would do to kill time. Very often I come out of some good solutions or nice plans or even jokes to share with friends, although I sometimes want to do reading instead since it is less demanding for my brain, well, for my lazy brain.:P

I don't really like waiting but I'm still patient enough to wait for late people. sometimes I just sit and wait and when I get really bored, I play with my cell phone. If I'm inside a mall, I roam around or stay in a coffee shop. Enjoy my coffee and watch and observe people passing by.

If I'm out somewhere and have to wait, I'll probably just sit there and daydream, lol. If it's a long time, I may take out my phone and play a game on it or text somebody. I never really carry books or things to do in my purse unless I know in advance thar I'll have to wait for a long time.
