If you are watching a sad movie and it makes you cry whether it is in a theater or at home do you get laughed at or made fun of?

I cry at hallmark commercials. I do get teased about it, my kids will silently place the tissues in front of me. When I was a girl, my grandma used to tease me that my bladder must be located in my tear ducts. There have been a few movies, that if I knew they were really going to make me cry I waited to see until they came out on DVD. The teasing doesn't bother me anymore..I am who I am, I can't help it.

I am who Im too and I don't care if anyone makes fun of me when I cry at movies. If I feel that I didn't cry or laugh the movie wasn't any good.

I do not cry for anything. There are a few things I can think of that would make me cry such as extreme pain or loss of a very close loved one. But no I would not cry at the movies.

When I watch movies I get myself deeply into them. When I watch some dramas, sad movies, I may get sad, if the story is really touching, but I usually don't cry when watching such movies. Like one of the previous responder said, it's important to also maintain control of your emotions. I try to do so, so I don't cry in front of other people, it's hard to make me cry at all.

yes there are people who often play with emotions. it often happens that people laugh at others when they find them being sensitive in the theaters watching movies. well while on one hand i think people should not make fun of someone's emotions, in the same time i also think one should have control over one's emotions :) :) :)

Yes, the movies always make me cry, no matter I am in the theater or at home. Sometimes I can't help crying in front of my friends and fell very awkard. Now I usually watch movies on line at home, and my BF will pass on the tissue to me in time, although until now he can't understand why I am moved so easily by the person that with no relations to me.
