What kind of toys did you play with as a child?

I loved my barbie dolls. I had a huge barbie doll play house. I also had a barbie remote control car. I had barbie dolls. Everything you can think of related to barbie, I had it. I also had play food and dishes. My favorite of them, was a porcelain mini tea set.

My favorite toy is LE-GO. Though the toy is not really for me but for my brother. Thats why we quarrel a lot during those days. I like my teddy bears but all I can do with them is to kiss and hug them. I want something challenging and mind blowing activity thats why I love le-go. I can construct an helicopter, building, track and etc.

I don't really remember playing with that many toys when I was a kid, I was outside a lot riding my bike and riding go carts, and dirt bikes. I did have Tinker toys which I really enjoyed playing with, I don't really remember any specific toys other than the tinker toys, I loved video games too and always wanted to play video games, I even won a contest once.

I remember loving to do workbooks. I think I really liked to learn and study. I don't know if that is a toy, but it is what I really liked to do. I also liked to play house or nurse. I thought I wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. I hated Barbies! I really liked to be outside. I remember spending hours and hours outdoors!

I had sorties when I was a kid. I even played marbles with the boys or tiny shells and been called names because I enjoyed playing with toys of both boys and girls. My favorite was my big doll with a thin kinda ceramic head and moving eyes at the age five. It was from my dad and I showed it to my male playmate through the window when I just got it. I really loved it like my buddy that even i was already a freshman and sophomore, i would carry it around the neighborhood with me like a baby. i hand sewn its clothes like a skimpy blue jean skirt out of my brother's old one and crochet on the tip. i finally gave it up and passed it on to my cousin with tears in my eyes before i became junior.

hmm.. think if i can remember well. i love to play with yoyos.i do some tricks before which is amazing.but i dont think i can do it now.i havent played it for decades.i also love playing marble before with my cousins.and its always fun

I loved my barbies and stuffed animals but my all time favorite was a Mrs Beasley doll from Family Affair!

My favorite toy was paperdolls. I use to have many that I would dress up and play pretend family with. I could spend hours with my paperdolls.

I am a little biased in this area because I feel I grew up in an era of the greatest toys ever. Transformers, G.I. Joes, He Man, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Robotech, etc. All of our toys had television shows and cartoons that coincided and fueled our young imaginations so the toys never got old I guess. I was a big transformers fan (still am) and all those Japanese animated series so my toys had to reflect that of course. And our toys were built out of die cast metals ans hard plastics. I don't know if that was a good thing but they weren't these flimsy cheap plastic toys the kids have nowadays that are three times as expensive. I mean I had a Tonka trunk when i was younger that could withstand a nuclear blast, I promise you. Now I look in the stores Tonka is all soft plastic, long gone are the die cast metal hard body frame of our beloved Tonka toys. Of course there was Rubix Cubes and Etch A Sketch and the like, our board games (Monopoly, Life, Clue). Loved all the toys because I never really had many but I promise you I cherished my Transformers and my Joes......

Too many to remember quite frankly. Lego blocks were among my favorite. I still have the first set of Lego Blocks that I had ever since I was one years old. Also, action figures of various types is another thing. Plus I could not really forget about Hot Wheels. I used to play with those things for hours upon hours and got quite a collection. Those are pretty much what I remember vividly from my childhood.

I am almost over the hill, So I guess my favorite toy as a kid was my big wheel. Me and my brother rode them so much that we wore them platic tires down on them. Then I got a bicycle. After that would be baseball. I played baseball for 10 years.

I got a Swiss army knife for my 5th birthday ,i loved it soooooo much i used it in almost every way possible :), i had match box cars ,but having no brother or anykind of friend my age i got bored pretty fast of them... I was raised by my grandparents at the country side because my parents were to busy working in the city
