Ladies, do you experiment with your hair color? Are you adventurous? How many different hair colors have you had? Which color did you like the best? Is your hair currently your natural color?

Hello Artistry I only once dyed my hair in another color, and it was only a little bit of the hair. I dyed it petrol color (dark tuqiose) because i knew my dad would be so pissed off. Now i debate if i should dye it with stribes of a little darker tone contra my current dark blonde...

...Hi there Downwindz, You are one of the few women who have only changed their hair color once. Quite interesting, you have to be happy with the natural color of your hair. That's a good thing. You have to allow your scalp to readjust I think after you color your hair, so as not to have the colors going into your skin, too often, I have heard. I would try to use henna when I colored my hair. That's supposed to be more of a natural dye or something. Thanks so much for your response. I appreciate it. Take care,.

My hair is going grey but thats alright.I have tried brown.blonde all shades and hight lights.I have had to stop dying my hair as my scalp got so sore last time i had a blanket cover it nearly drove me round the bend.It is fun to experiment but at 52 I feel it would not look right with blue or a striking colour in my hair anymore but have fun while you can.

...Hi there suzzy3, Happy 2010. My dear, everybody is going grey. Even those whose hair is still black or brown are going that way. It's just, as they say, a matter of time. I admire so many people on television who have beautiful grey hair. I was just mentioning in the comment above yours, about giving your scalp time between colorings so that it does not effect your scalp. You can give yourself terrible problems if you are not careful. I am glad you are better. Fifty-two is also young, enjoy, look at George H. W. Bush parachuting at 86 or so. It's mind over matter "o). If you don't mind, it doesn't matter, remember. Thanks so much for your reply. Take care always.

...Hu neo_matrix, Happy 2010. Burgundy red sounds exotic. "o). Do you remember if you got a lot of attentioon when you had that color? Black is a beautuful hair color in my opinion. My hair has been various shades of brown with a bit of a reddish tone. My mom says I was born with a head of gold or blond hair, which is interesting. My brown hair would have streaks of gold, which people thought I had put in my hair, but I had not. But the most fun I had with my hair was when I cut it to about an inch in length. I had a very easy time getting ready in the morning. Thanks so much for your response. Take good care.

Hello! This is an interesting question! I have tried lots of colors: starting from blond, red, darker, bright red, orange, light orange (I guess it is called differently but lets leave it as orange) , light brown, dark brown, almost black but real black I hadn't had. Now I have blond or it more looks like light brown. I think it suits me the best, however, I liked these red colours as well. My natural color is something like gray, I would say I don't have any colour :) Happy mylotting!

...Hi missweety, Please forgive the time lag in answering you. Thanks for your compliment and your response. Well, I was born with blond or gold hair, I guess then it turned brown with gold or blond streaks, which people thought I had put in my hair but I didn't, it was natural and pretty, if I do say so myself. Then I tried various shades of brown and brownish red. You don't know how the color of your hair is going to look against your skin until you look in the mirror after it's done and you are very happy or you want to scream "o). Take good care.

...Hi there Allie_xoxo, Sounds as if you love being adventurous as well. I think it's neat to try different hair colors and see if you like the effect. It's very interesting to see how a change of hair color can change the entire persona of a woman sometimes. It is somewhat like taking on a new identity. Just a thought. Thanks very much for your input, take good care.

I have had a couple of different hair colours in the past. My natural hair colour is blond. I didn't colour my hair when I was a teenager, because at that time I was satisfied with my blond hair. When I was in my early 20's I decided to try some other colours, and I have had brown hair, red hair and orange hair. The orange hair was a mistake, it wasn't supposed to get orange and it looked pretty awful. My favourite hair colour is red and I have had many different kinds of red hair. Right I also have red hair, and I plan on keeping that colour.

...Hi there Porcospino, I have done a couple of changes I was born with blond hair, my mom told me, which later turned brown with blond streaks. People thought I had put hi-lights in my hair but they were natural. I tried different colors of brown and reddish brown. The best different hair change I have had, was when it was cut to about an inch or so in length, I was totally carefree with my hair. Fun, fun, fun. Love the orange "o). Take it easy. Thanks for your input.

I've tried several different shades of red and brown plus streaks in turquoise, cerise, violet, lagoon blue, lavendar, neon blue... No, my hair isnt my natural colour... is a bit like one of those jumpers that people used to make using all their left-over bits of wool.

....Hi Wizzywig, Now I'm going to assume that your name has a liitle bit to do with your hair. Makes a lot of sense. You are a very adventurous individual, loving to have fun and loving life. I had one gold streak in my hair when I was in my teens, which I loved. My dad flipped out and made me try to get rid of it. I think that kind of made me shy away from streaking my hair. Have tried different colors, and cut it to about an inch. That was fun and very carefree. Take care, thanks for your response. Love the name by the way.
