Has anyone tried this? If so is the science behind it solid? It sounds reasonable to me, but as a long time dieter I know that many times theories sound good and may even work but are not a long term solution.

I've never heard of this diet but I think that it sounds similar to carb cycling, calorie shifting, and points (weight watchers) shifting. I've done the carb cycling and it does work. I start with week with two carb down days; Weds is a carb up day; Thurs and Fri are carb down days; Sat is another carb up day and Sunday is a balanced day. It works well for me because I know that if I want carbs, I can have them on certain days. I've been on the plan for 4 weeks and I've lost 10 lbs. Good luck

Yes, you can get a book. It's call "Conquer the Fat Loss Code: by Wendy Chant. The only way that I seem to lose weight anymore is with carb reduction but it's difficult for me to stick to long term. That's what I like about this diet, on selected days, I can eat pasts. The diet is 9 weeks. Good luck

Guys, i dont believe how much time and energy you put into diets. They dont work.If they did,you would not have to do an other one. DIETS DON`T WORK. Healthy eating is a way to go.And it can be and is very tasting eating. I have been a chabby child,my mum is a great cook.It is only since I left my home, and learn few things about nutition,I have body I always wanted. And the fat stays off. Have a look on Palea diet( it is not realy diet). Common sence. You don`t have to study nutrition to live healthy. Fruit, veg, white meat, nuts, seeds, NO SUGAR. You feel much better and you`ll start looking better too.Trust me. I make my living getting people slimer, fitter and healthier.

I used to give myself a junk food day once a week, as then I could lose the weight I wanted and still not feel deprived, and that worked out well. Also, upping and lowering the calories through a week or month can help one over those diet "plateaus" we hear about. It keeps the metabolism from going into slow motion. Karen
