But really didnt .I saw this young lady in the bank and I couldnt stop looking at her (granted she was attractive) but I couldnt shake the feeling that I have known this young lady before. She looked like a young lady who I knew when I was in high school and badly wanted to talk to then but was far too shy back then . The girl actually wasnt the person I used to know but I was shocked by the resemblance, the walk the talk and even the mannerism. Has this ever happened to you ?

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Well it has happened with me as well. After many yrs gap, could never gather that much strength to talk to one of my collegue, who was my class fellow and became big celebratry. I was shy to talk to her. At times it does happen. May God bless You and have a great time.

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, Remembering 'good old days' comes seldom in everyone's life. When it comes, it removes lot many layers of dust over the mind and makes one fresh as a newly born child, erases every thing. So let's be fully lyucky to make that ocasion in our life. May God bless You and have a great time.

Hi Ronnyb, This has happened to me many times even when I travell. I have now concluded that our african origins have strong impact even in these ways. I have now to closely examine the situation and ask myself some questions before I approach the person and look like a foolish person. However, there is the possibility of mistaken identity. Let me share what happened to me recently. A church sister came back from the States and we met in the Bay(town) exchanged pleasantries and went on our different ways. I met another church sister knows Brenda too and we began talking and as we passed a "Juicy" outlet(fast food ) My friend said in a exicitment; "See Brenda there ina juicy she a eat!" She paused then said; "It is not she" feeling dissapointed. I said , "You are wrong it is she". We argued and to prove my point I went in and called the lady. The lady had similiar mannerism like our friend and it was like a joke. We exchanged ideas and our meeting was great. Needless to say what transpired afterwards. It was pure laughter between us. But I discovered that they lived near each other, resembled, spoke similiarly and was fun to with so there is mistaken identity from time to time.

There are a couple of different experiences I’ve had while meeting new people. Firstly there is the knowledge that I have met this person before because I recall the face but cannot remember the name or where I’ve encountered this individual in the past. Secondly there is the other, somewhat strange feeling that although intellectually I may know for sure that I have not met the person before in my life, there is a part of me that knows this person; it’s hard to explain. Those who believe in re-incarnation may say that I have know the person before in another life...I don’t know but I have definitely had that feeling before...

I have had similar experiences. In two particular cases however I have been mistaken for someone else. This was a surprise to me because I have quite unique features that I thought I was safe from a mistaken identity.

Yes!!!!!! My friend introduced me to his new girlfriend and I think I already know she!!!! And she probably remember me because she acts naturally like a long time friend!!!!! We was in a party and we talk all night!!!!!! Suddenly she ask "Do you remember me?". I didn't know what to say but I said yes and start talk to her about my family. But she knows my family and she thinks I was talking about their because I've remembered she!!!!! It was so embarrassing. But at the end of night she said lovely things about my brother and I suddenly remember she was the first grilfriend of my brother!!!!! I hope never more do this!!!!! It's so awkward situation!!!!!

Yeah I've met people at music festivals that I felt so comfortable around that it seemed like we had been friends all our life. It's really amazing to meet people like that because it just shows you that their are beautiful relationships and beautiful people out there that are similar to you. You just have to go out and try and find them or let them find you I guess.

This has happened to me more than once even when I travel. As black people we have a lot in common and we can be easily mistaken. The other day something simliarly happened to me. Brenda, a friend of mine came on holidays from the states and we met and greeted each other and went our separate ways. It so happened that another friend said that she saw Brenda too before she could finished talking she said in excitement ; "See her dat in a Juicy Beef!" Then she went closer to the big glass door and then she turned to me and said disappointingly, "It is not her" I peered in and said with confidence "it is she" By this the lady looked up laughting with us; so I went into the fast food establishment and beckoned to her, unhesitatingly she came forward with a even broader smile. As she drew nearer I realised that I was wrong but she seemed to enjoying the drama so I told her that she seemed to be the wrong person but we have a friend that resembles her. We spoke a little and I discovered that she lives near my friend in the states, is friendly and ahe admits that from time to time she has been mistaken. We then bid farewell after we gave each other holiday greetings and God's speed. This explained why there is mistaken killings because people really can be a copy of another.
