What was the last book you read that you really enjoyed? Did it have you ripping through the pages and staying up all night? Why is it that you liked this book so much? The last book I read that I really enjoyed was "Magic Kingdom for Sale- Sold!" by Terry Brooks. I'm a big fan of fantasy fiction, so I had been meaning to read Terry Brooks for quite awhile. I wasn't the least bit disappointed, the book was loads of fun. I wasn't ripping through the pages or staying up late to read it, but I did really enjoy it. How about you? What was your last great read?

I also loved the Twilight saga, and Stephenie Meyer's other book The Host. The Harry Potter books are always good too. I have read them several times. On Stephenie Meyer's website she recommended a book called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (book # 2 is called Catching Fire). Those books were awesome and appropriate for teen readers. The last great read for me was Under the Dome by Stephen King. I loved all 1000 pages of that one! Right now I am starting the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I have heard some really good things about those books and am excited to get lost in another good story.

I LOVE the Hunger Games! Can't wait for book 3! I've read the whole Maximum Ride series (all the books that are out anyway) and I enjoyed it most of the time. There were a few parts I wasn't thrilled about, but I'd still recommend them. Hope you have fun getting lost in another good story!

i went throught the entire twilight saga in 4 days. I couldn't pull myself away from the books. I still have a hard time when I flip through them not to start from the beginning. Another great read is actually a kids book entitled the phantom tollbooth. I love that book- if you have never read it i suggest you do.

I couldn't pull myself away from the Twilight saga either. I made the mistake of taking Twilight to school when I first started reading it, and I wound up paying more attention to the book than to the teachers. Oops. Ah well, we weren't doing anything important that day. I've read the Phantom Tollbooth. It's a fun classic.

I really enjoyed the books by Ingvar Ambjornsen. He is a Norwegian author, and he has written a number of books. I haven't read all of them, but I loved "A view of paradise", "The bird dance" and "Bloodbrothers". The first book is my favourite, but I enjoyed all of them and they are all very funny and very well-written. There is one more book about the same character (Elling), but I have never seen it in Denmark, and I am not sure if it has been translated to Danish. I have thought about buying the Norwegian version instead, because I would love to read the last book.
