Beauty Does Matter

Don't we feel jealous when we see a Venusian of a beauty/ Tall, beautifully endowed features and a most charming face. They get the best boys. They can pick their jobs. Even in colleges, professors and lecturers drool over them and give them high marks for classroom participation. They are the belle of the ball. And what about those that God has seen fit to make them wall flowers. Not even to be glanced or to ever get a date but from an average joe. Have you known as any beautiful girl who did not get any successes socially, academically or job-wise?

yes in reality that is happening, but that is only a temporary pass to get what u want, i may say. because if u have beauty without a brain is a clown to be considered for me. at work it really helps u initially, then by using ur brain it will be easy to get into the top. and u can apply that to all aspect in life. so as for me its not all about beauty.

funny! Depends on how we received beauty. i don't get jealous with girls considered as "more" beautiful than i am. i am perfectly alright. i believe God has given me anything i want, a normal body, a normal mind, complete set of anatomy, so what shall i complain or jealous for? no, i do love myself... i will not trade this with others... God Luck...!

Yaa it's maybe right, but for some people's don't, you are right about beauty girl can get best priority, but it's not hold permanently, the beauty should come from both side, out and insides to make it eternally, you are wrong thinking about God only looks beauty from outside, you maybe forgot who creates us, maybe in our eyes beauty from outside is more than enough, but in God eyes, beauty from inside is like a Jewel for Him Have a good bless!

Beauty does help, but it's not all you need to have. You should also have intelligence and a good character to be successful. When I was still in school there were beautiful girls who were as dumb as they were beautiful. They didn't get high grades. They didn't get any recognition whatsoever. People were actually a bit cruel to them because they were expected to have brains with their beauty. I don't know why, but people whom I know, after seeing someone who's beautiful, will next see if that person is also smart. They seem to think that beauty and intelligence should come together. It's a little bit unfair because average-looking people don't get as much attention as beautiful people, so nothing much is expected of them.

Yes, i agree that Beauty is very important and enjoying so much priority, especially at the first impression. But it doesn't mean anything. If the beauty is very rude in manner and impolite to everything,i don't think she can achieve anybody's appreciation. That means all the beauties also need to upgrade herself to be elegant, charming. Otherwise, they can not become a graceful cultivated lady. Even the inborned beauty need to make effort, shouldn't you work harder to make youself become attractive ? Come on, please don't complain or waist the time to envy. It is the inner Beauty work, rather than the surficial beauty.

To me, physical beauty is not important. Ive known some people who werent pretty at all and they had lots of friends, did very well in their careers.....why? Because they were lovable, they had great personality and their inner beauty came through. It might seem that beautiful people have it all, but they dont. Beauty comes from within. If you feel good about yourself, if you're happy, people around you will be attracted to you, no matter if you have red lipstick on or not. They say "love is blind", it means that if you love someone, to you, that person is the most beautiful in the world.....it has nothing to do with physical appearance.

I have to admit that the beauty of a girl plays a vital role in getting her chances in all the field. It is worshiped by the human race. And the gods we worship too are the embodiment of beauty. It is true that a person needs extraordinary talent to beat the beauty to come to a good place in any field. But as the intelligent establish themselves they become unshakable. The charm of the beauty tends to fade as the beauty too begins to fade with time.

Beauty is important only to materialistic, shallow person basically. I do not judge people solely on their looks because I've tried to have serious conversations with some beautiful people before and you can just tell that there's nothing behind their looks. Inner beauty also counts as beauty though so we have to keep that in mind. We also have to remember that jealousy is a wasted feeling because you can't change who you are. You can only work to improve yourself be it mentally, physically, or spiritually. I believe that sometimes we do put to much attention on looks and end up losing out on people that may be even more beautiful even if they don't look like it.

Hi gracefuldove, you must be thankful to god cause you get everything that the disabled is not getting. Envy those beauty from the outside is not the answer but if you have the inner beauty that is the most important thing in life. Forget about those who have succeed in socially, academically or job-wise. You too can succeed and think you already did. Be

Thats the way the world runs I guess and its never fair but there really isnt anything we can do about it face it beautiful people get the best of everything and plus they get better pay when starting a job and plus they get the best benefits. I just wish I was a super model and have all those god like men chasing me constantly instead of the broke losers. sorry but I need a change

Hi :) As much as I believe everyone should be accepted for who they are I tend to agree with you. I think life in general is easier for good looking folk. People are drawn to their aesthetic exterior and believe they must be nice people. More opportunities come their way. But I believe people can only trade off their good looks for so long. Sooner or later their personalities come to overshadow their looks.

yes i also believe that beauty does matter in this world, but sometimes it also depends on every situation. At first glance, of course a beautiful girl will attract lots of attention and admiration from others, especially boys. But what about if you get to know a certain beauty, and you discover that she has no brain, or she does'nt know how to carry herself. Will you still be attracted to her? My point here is Beauty does really matter if you have also the brain, if you have confident to carry yourself well and most of all, if you also have a beautiful heart.Im sure no one will get attracted to an angelic face but has awful personality.will you?

we noticed that because we concentrate at that side. but if we try to search for unsuccessful beautiful women, there are (of course) beauty does matter, but what is beauty if she is incapable or not so intellegent. you know what i mean? nobody is perfect. maybe she is perfect physically but she is not that gifted mentally or socially. sometimes, those who are not that beautiful tends to encourage themselves to level with the beautiful ones, they focus on developing their strengths like doing the best at their jobs. so, beautiful or not, it depends on how you hold the journey of your life~

So far, I don't know someone who is physically gifted but is unsuccessful with her career. Yes, you're right, beauty does really matter. I would just like to share the experience I had before when I had my training on my previous job. The company was owned by Japanese people because it was an online school for Japanese. We were 9 trainees that time who worked hard to get the job. Almost all of us were really good and smart. Unfortunately, there were two girls who are considered to be not attractive. They were immediately told to quit the training simply because the Japanese manager didn't like them because they are not beautiful. I was happy because I was chosen to be one of their employees/teacher but I felt sad for those two girls because one of them was a close friend of mine. And with that, I can say that beauty does really matter. If someone is beautiful, she can get a lot of benefits and advantages in many aspects of life.
