Do you use fake windows or legit?

Hey im wond3r here who paid for their windows?? or who just donwload it form a torrent an burn it in a cd then installed?? well i did that i have the fakes ones they free lol... i have the xp on my old destok then i have vista on my laptop and i have win 7 in the new 1.... i prefer fake because it donst come with garbage programs.... and it give you more hard drive???
What do you prefer a original 1 or a fake1??

just remember that while fake may be cheap, it will eventually prevent you from downloading all critical windows updates which can put your computer at risk. I had it happen on one machine, its called the windows authenticity verification tool. buy an inexpensive machine with windows installed and you will save yourself a lot of time and money.

You must not be using some form of virus scan on your fake windows OS.. any machine now a days MUST have some form of Antivirus. With high speed internet being so commonplace in peoples homes either free or paid pptions will protect your computer from nasty attacks... and as for the virus from an update? did you actually download from Microsofts site or a hacked site that came with your fake version of windows? You must have very little computer experience if you are telling people to turn off their Windows updates because the updates are there to improve the security of your PC by repairing holes and other security threats that are found.

I haven´t met a person that has legit windows. Maybe Banks, institutions and such have it. But how could we pay for it? It is expensove and does not give any extra thing that pirated windows give. If Bill Gates was a pauper, I would consider on buying it.
As it is, I only hope he gets a divorce and asks me to marry him with no prenuptial agreement

No we use Windows Vista Legit for want of a better word as I do not care much for Windows Vista so I hope Windows Seven is better than the last one.
If I knew how to do it all download it and set it up I suppose I would use it.

Would like to add that if it is an ilegal download then I would´nt be using it as I don´t care for pirated things but then I am no one to judge anyone else maybe those other people are in desperate circumstances that we can never get to imagine.

Legit because it was pre-installed onto my laptop. It is annoying because it gives you a bunch of rubbish programmes you do not want but cannot install, or trials of helpful software that you actually need to shell out large sums of money for

lol i know its like some computer come with antiviruse and all that and you canot unistall them, and they use some space in you hard drive, and some stff you dont use and using your memory.. I prefer fake because it comes plain :D

When I bought my new computer the guy asked me if I have a legitimate windows disk. I have several windows disks starting from the beginning of time, but not windows 7. I wanted Windows 7 and didn't have a disk, so I had to buy it. It is expensive, but I had no choice. The computer store sure won't put in a fake system and get in trouble, loose their business and go to jail.

Thats false dichotomy, I have not used windows on my home PC since the days of windows 98SE. Linux for me all the way. Ubuntu Linux is great for non-geeks and for geeks there is Arch Linux. I recommend Ubuntu to a new users as it is very easy to install and comes with lots of free software. The menu system is excellent as is the method of installing new software (just select the software you want to install from list and it dowloads and installs it for you and places an item in the nicely categorized menu system).

My labtop uses windows xp, it was all ready instuled in the computer. I will never use anyting that is not legit. the origal is the only thing I will get.

I have a legit copy of every OS (just about). I do computer work and programming, and most of the software I have to do that legally will not work on a pirated copy of windows. Yes, If I got the pirated version of the software it would probably work, but then I would not be able to legally sale my software or services. I do not condone piracy, but I can see why some prefer to be pirates.

hah , i have 2 originals , one win7 and one vista , both are ultimate x64 bit
and have one vista pirate copy and 3 XP , again pirate , i work on original XP in the office and in XP don't see difference , but in vista , I'm glad they give it to me free whit one of my laptops , there is a difference in stability and resource usage of windows vista ( i hope not just for me) cuz i try it whit 32bit fake
for now xp pro is the best, classic who want to be one place downed in rating by win7
if you have 1gigs of ram and one of middle class videos just run it and enjoy it,
another is unix , linux based OSs , just look on mac tiger X os for IBM computers and you'll be amazed what can do people for money and piece of the market :)

that is a very good question buddy..
i bet there would be no more that 10% from all over the world who are using legit windows..
and everybody else would be using fake or pirated windows..
who would be that much dumb to use a costly windows if you are getting it for no cost..??
i would also prefer fake windows only..!!

I prefer the original one even though i have a fake windows vista in my pc and a original xp in my laptop..i think that original give you the option of having updates directly from the website which would help you in having a secured and updated os,but whereas in the duplicate you will not be able to install the service pack and you will not be able to get nice benefits from the site which a original will get...

I prefer genuine one and I also have a genuine Windows XP installed on my PC. I like it because I can then use new Windows Media Player.

Frankly speaking , my computer just has the fake window @XP, which I use for so convienent. I enjoy the window@XP so much. Fake it is , iit still can do a lot of job as the original one. Maybe I want a original one , but when I bought the computer from the storre , it just provide me with the fake window@XP.I am so sorry to hear that.But when I use it for a lot time , I think it is just OK for me.Happy mylot.

I am using a fake windows 7..
You wont get caught if you dont update your windows through internet..
So never update your windows..
