George Clooney, I have heard has a pet pig. A girl that I used to work with, also has a pig as a pet. Do you think you could take care of a pig as a pet? What would you feed a pet pig?

My uncle who is a veterinarian, used to have a pot bellied pig as a pet. I was a little girl so I can't remember what he would feed it, but it was a good pet, pigs are a lot smarter than what is commonly thought. A pig can be a great pet, but you need to have space and know what you are doing, it is not as easy as a cat, and sometimes can be harder. It takes a lot of responsibility and it is not for everyone at all.

...Hi there spicysweetie21, How interesting that a doctor of animals would choose to have a pig for a pet. I would like to know how he came to the decision to own one. I think it's cute. I don't know that I could adjust to having a pig, I guess I would be afraid that the pig would not be comfortable in the house, that I would have to have some mud for it, and I am serious. Because I know that pigs like mud. Thank you for sharing your story about your uncle and his piggy. Take it easy.

Well maybe if we are living in a province i will have pig as pet. I am an animal lover. But sadly i live in the city so we only have dog and cat as a pet. But still have a dream to live in a province with plenty of animals someday.

...Hi Reyah23, You would have fun with all your pet animals all around. That's nice, we need more animal lovers. I would think that some day, you will realize your dream and have it turn into reality. As I said my girfriend at work had a pig in her home and she loved that little pig, and she was not a country girl. Thanks so much for your reply, take good care.

In a minute. Johnny Carson was right, pigs are about as smart as it gets in the animal kingdom.

...Hi there valentinesdiner, my friend, I was born on my Grandmother's farm, but I only saw the pigs and horses from a distance. We left when I was about four or five, so I don't know too much about them. That was it except for a visit now and then to Georgia. Other people have said that pigs were smart, so I guess they have shown somebody, something that was above the average animal intellect. I find that quite interesting. I know that I enjoyed that movie "Babe" a whole lot. It was extremely funny, Thanks for your response and take care.

...Hi janiceines, Yes they do, I never asked my friend at work if she got the pig very little or if he had been someone else's pet before she got him. So I don't know if she had to train him or not. I find it very interesting that someone would want to have a pig walking round in their house like a kitten or a dog. I was born on a farm and the pigs were usually near the troughs for the slop "o). Take care and thanks so much for responding.
