Read the FAQs and you will understand (I hope) many things about myLot. First - a myLot 'day' is not the same as yours. The earnings updaye every 24 hours and you will earn for your own posts for the previous day in their time zone, not yours. Second - you can start as many discussions as you like but unless you go and comment on the responses they do NOT earn for YOU. Those who post the responses will earn for them because we each earn for our own work here and NOT for what others type. PLEASE read here to understand better: : http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14

The biggest minus point of most of the new members is, after starting a new discussion, they just forget about it, and never bother to go back and respond. Of late I am seeing a lot of discussions, which has got quite a good number of responses, but the member who started the discussion never seems to come back and comment.I think the main reason is most people might not know that they have to go and make a comment to earn.

I have seen them too. I think many new users are still under the wrong impression that they earn for the responses that their discussions receive. It is very difficult to make them understand that they ONLY EARN FOR THEIR OWN WORK here.

I am not sure why it is like that. I kind of noticed something weird in my earning. Yesterday, I answered only four questions. One was yours and my answer was too short to it. But earning seemed to be .15 cents. Last time I answered only three and I ended up with .03 cents. I don't understand this site. But for the discussion, you get paid more only if your question becomes capable to get lots of responses. At least this is what I read. I am not sure if multiple questions can earn us a lot.

That is one thing that seems to set MyLot apart from other sites. You earn on your own participation.

MyLot updated today as usual, it may have been later than you expected. Your discussion that you start does not earn until someone responds to it, due to the fact that it is not a discussion until someone answers it. You earn for what you do, and if the time of day you worked was not before midnight Central Standard Time it will not show up until the next day as the time you are credited must correspond to the time that MyLot operates on. They do update every day. Maybe twice in the three years I have been here have they not updated, but they caught up when they did.

Hello, I haven't been on this site in 3 years but use to earn a fair amount per day. I tried different senerios and startd many discussions about what I found. Not sure if things have changed or not. You can check out some of my discussions on what I found and what others had found in the discussion and kind play around with answering questions and starting new discussions. I think that one of my best days was like a $1.76 and I had started no new discussions. It's about all around participation, so just answering discussions or starting discussions won't earn you the maximum. Try uploading pictures and rating your discussions you respond in also make sure to rate the responses you get in your discussions. Make sure to pick best response when you have one after you stop receiving responses to the discussion. All around participation is the best. Avoid reponding in discussions that are against the rules and will get deleted. Upload a picture now and then in your discussions or responses also. Hope this helped some. Good luck!

According to mylot faq, earning is updated within 24 hours. But i have encountered the same situation as yours before. What i did is wait until my earning got credited. As i remember i have waited until 2 days when it got reflected on my earning.

I have experience that too. Like today, my earnings did not yet increased But I posted some discussion yesterday afternoon. I think that it's because of our timezone... Maybe the post I made yesterday will be counted for todays post? LOL, What I'm doing is I still post and post... It is just fine with me.

Yes, the payments update at a specific time each day. It updates in Central time at 12:00 pm I believe. That information is in the faq's for the site.

How Much Do You Want To Get Paid Per Post? MyLot Pays Very Big Money. I Mean 0.5 Cent/Post( Not 0.5 Dollar) is Really Big Money... Some Sites(Almost All Other) Paying Only 0.01( Not Dollar) Cents Per Post... Its Great That MyLot Can PAy Us So Much!

I don't know where you get that they pay that much. It all depends on the quality of your posts, as we are all paid differetntly. If you don't post quality, then you don't earn. People like to say that each post is a certain amount when we don't know what they pay, and to speculate is against the TOS. I think you should read the guidelines and resalize our earnings are based on quality, and nothing else.
