There are many topics that I would like to respond but can not understand! Even the headline! The language is not standard, some are full of abbreviations that only few people can read. some are full of grammatical mistakes, too many errors that I can not read, either.

poor baby did you not read the guidelines do not make fun or point out grammatical errors of the poor people who are trying their best to learn a new language English, grow up a bit, give them some slack.you may know English very well but not all are privileged like we are. just try to be understanding for awhile, think what it would be like to learn how to write discussions in a language foreign to you. do not criticize them for doing their best because its not good enough for you, moveon to one you think meets your high standards. Some on here have also not read the rules andguidelines and questions and answers and are using textspeak which is another mylot no no. bear with them, some will be deleted. do read the guidelines and do not make discussions about bad grammar. these people are doing the best they can.

I know how you feel. There are many posts that are written in such broken english that it is hard for me to understand it. Most of the time I just muddle along and hope that I know what I am talking about.

Hi, Magic. I am the one of peoples which are making mistakes. Don't be so strict. We are coming from all over the world - some of us are trying to learn this beutiful language alone - while reading and posting. You must admit that learning new language by your self is not that easy. Maybe in this post I made some mistakes, but you should understood... And if you don't like to read broken English, better try to find professional writers and chat with them.

Beautiful! If you remember on another post, we had great fun when we misunderstood something that was being said by another friend when he joined in. But we did get upset about - we had a lot of fun sorting out what was being said and that is how to get around language problems here

I agree - some could be difficult. It could be because not everyone has his/her English as mother tongue or may not be proficient in that language- after all people from all over the world come to this site, also abbreviations may not be the same in all countries; so let it go if you do not understand or then try to get the closest to what you understand of it and reply; live and let live!!

This generation has became fond of slang and they are too lazy to use perfect grammer and full sentences. This is the reaosn why you can't understand some topics, but i guess everyone just has to get use to it.

Hello magic9! I agree with you. I see a lot of them around. I am having difficulty comprehending what they really want to ask or share. There are even questions that are too vague. It's sad that there are many topics I can't understand. I would have more topics to respond to if only... Well, I think we just have to give them enough time to develop here on myLot.

is reasonable because we are coming from all over the world, and maybe I also cannot translate English language with very well. I tried to understand what other people say and I also have to understand what I write. If you cannot read then find another discussion that you can respond.

I really know what you mean, as I do have time trying to figure out what they are saying as well. The ones that can't speak very good English, do have a hard time expessing themselves in the discussions. They try to speak proper English , but it is so bad that I can't read them either. Those I just don't respond to, as I am not so sure of what they are trying to say. I really think in a way, that until their English improves, they really shouldn't start discussions, but then that is just my opinion. Not everyne is going to agree with me, and that is okay, but that is the way I feel. I think they do have a right to their opinion though, just not start discussions themselves. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I can understand your feelings regarding this. When due to the grammar, poor ortography or extremely broken English I can't understand a word of what the topic says I just ignore it, as I can't turn into a translator or a proofreader
