I believe that she's talking about binaural beats. They have different frequencies that help stimulate the brain and can help induce a trance or meditative like state. There's quite a bit of them out there.

Hi lordcaocao2025! I heard about that brainwave before from a friend of mind, but did not pay much attention on it. As far as I understand they will put you to rest and make you hear some sounds... I don't know how effective it is but as for him he said it is really good??? Anyway, are you from the Philippines? Why am I asking? That friend of mine put up a spa and it was operating 2 years now and the last time I heard from him. He said he will include that brainwave service package to his spa... If you are interested I can give you his spa location and contact number...

But still, i don't know for sure because there is much information about them, and i don't know which are true and which are false. Thanks for your infromation.

not so long ago my boss gave me a book -i forgot the exact title- about how to upgrade our brain work-level. It came with an Audio CD. Maybe thats what lordcaocao mean " a brainwave music "- a music/sound specially designed for our brain. They also have a manual procedures how to use the CD and how to get the maximum benefit from it. Yes we have to hear it with a headset and.. CLOSE OUR EYES, not sleeping but with our eyes closed, the sensitivity of the ear will extrremely increase and influence the work-level of our brain. Thanks,

I play such music for may animals when they are home alone. My ipod is on 24/7. Seems it helps to prevent anxiety. I feel very relax when I listen to instrumental music.

O I See, so you often turn on music and when they do, they will listen it. What kind of music do you often play to them, and what kind of music did you think that they will like the most. Is it classic, R & B, Punk or something else? My Mom never allowed me to have cat, although i really like them. So congrat to you. Thanks for responding my question in this discussion.

Music has been proved scientifically to help the mind to be more focused and students have found it particularly valuable when studying. However, it needs to be music that is slower classical music. Mozart's music has been found to be particularly valuable around 60 beats per minute. _ Derek

O Yes, i heard this also. It said, clasical music help baby become smarter. But i think, the one that my friend hear is not classic music. I search around yesterday, and it said it is like a music that have a beta, alfa, theta and delta frequencies. I still don't really understand, but i will search around some more. I also would like to know, in what frequencies Mozart's music are. Thanks

Hi Lord, Any kind of music affects our brain and how we tend to react to it. when i was pregnant i used to let my baby listen to mozart music. they say that it's good for the child's brain development-- and really my son respond through simple movements while inside my tummy. now as they grow as toddlers...everytime i play a fast beat music they tend to be so hyperactive but when i play on mellow music they play quietly.

Yes, i also heard that classical music, one of them is mozard music is good for the children. That music affect they brain and make them become smarter and smarter. I think it is increasing their IQ, although i never know if it is true or not. But one thing for sure, that slow music make them less hyperactive. Thanks.
