I need some expert advice.

I love having a cup of tea....Chai is my favorite....today I wanted to make a pot of tea....I know how to make it by the cup and that is very easy....but if I want to make a pot of tea...in one of my cute teapots....how many bags do I use? How long do you let it steep? My sister's mother in law makes a pot of tea that is perfect! I really don't know how to.....I use bags...any advice?

It all depends on how strong tea you can drink. I can not drink tea that is too strong. In my case I would have to use only one bag and soak it for an about 10 minutes.

Hi jillhill, How large is the tea pot? 2 cups or more. i would think that for 2 cups of tea 3 bags would be ideal. I like my tea to be slightly stronger and the longer you soak them the stronger the tea becomes. Since you say it is cute I am guessing that your tea pot is the smaller one that holds 2 cups and a little more...All the best and have a great day
