Many persons work every day because the money rules the world, but life does not talk each other about money, life is a question of living through it and enjoying it. In my life i've had different works, but it was only for money, not to be happy or to help others. Now i believe that each one should begin a personal search to understand what they really want to do to be happy. If you work only for the money, you are not enjoying life completely, try to find what you really want to do for you and your family and then find the best way to reach your goeals. What do you think?

Nice post. I'm definitely not happy with what I'm doing; it's all for the money. I'm trying to go to school, though, to get to where I want to be in life and in career. But it's hard, college tuition is so expensive and it's terrible that we need A LOT of money in order to MAKE a lot of money (in the future, with a good career). It's an oxymoron.

It's easy to say that everyone has a chance to quit the job and start doing something he really loves. The problem is, that many of us have undertaken obligations that need to be repaid. Enjoying life without money sounds really difficult thing for me to do in nowadays. I'm happy to say that I like what I do and I'm even happier that I can earn money doing it. But there's one job I'd love even more and I'm sure that one day I'm gonna have it. It's just not the right time for it yet ;)

i think working is as important as fun, everyone works for money directly or indirectly and if you plan out your weekends and enjoy with friends and family then you can show more efficiency at work.

many people who work only for money and the feel unhappy, if we've worked hard and the results we get a few, can make us happy?? The most important thing is how we enjoy the work no matter how bit that we received

I agree with you. Money isn't really the most important aspect in the job. Although it is an important factor, other things are also considering in choosing/staying in a profession. I have a colleague who earns more than I do but in the end he sacrifices a lot of time having over time in the office. For me, it essential to have a work-life balance. I would like to have work that doesn't alter the well-being of my life or health for that matter. I would like to be able to have time for myself and my friends after work. I would appreciate it if I can have dinner out once in a while or go to parties because social life is a big part of one's well-being. I refuse to be a corporate slave working 24/7 in the office.

Right now i am taking an online class. I'm being educated in At-home employment. I'm happy about this because it is improving my resume and experience as well as being a field that is set to explode.

I feel exactly how you feel. I have been trying to understand what I really want to do in my life, and not just stay in my current job, work day to day just to earn enough to pay the bills. I just wish that one of these days, I could finally find the job that I really want.

I'm happy with my job now. I have flexible time for working. I can work extra time to increase my level faster. I can take a holiday whenever I need this time for my family. With this job, I can find side job to earn more money, so, I'm happy with this job.

Yes I am very blessed and thankful with my present job. Despite the fact that the world experiences recession, here I am, working. Though the pay is not really big since I'm just starting my career, so far so good. My job is related from the course I studied so I'm learning many other things here at work. I can also apply the skills I've learned in the university. However, i want to study again. It's more fun studying than working! hehehe :)

Our society has definitely turned their focus on the pursuit of money instead of the pursuit of happiness and this message is not declining in frequency by any means. I agree that one's ultimate goal should be to work for happiness independent of the salary/wage. However, many people are so stuck in the "Keep up with the Jones's" mentality that their persistance and focus continues to be on money and not happiness.

HI! Yes, I am happy with my present job, because it is connected with my university study and also I have been not so bad paid. i am a teacher in German and i work maximum 5 hours per day, and on Thuesday I work only 2 hours, because I have three lessons in school, each is 40 min. I also am a translator, which is my part-time job and so i can earn some more extra money.

You do have the point. We should learn to love our job not only because of money we earn from it, but because we are happy about it. I actually found my present job as boring and tiring because teaching has never really been my profession. I am a nurse but then i chose to work first as an online English teachers for Japanese students. It wasn't really my cup of tea. But later on, I have come to enjoy and love it. I am happy with my job now but of course, sooner or later, I will quit in order to practice my real profession which is nursing.
