Hello fellow-lots, Some people think that having 'stress' is good and some think it isn't. At first, when a friend of mine made this comment about 'stress' making your life miserable all the time! I thought for a moment, it may and maybe it may not. It was a crazy idea that I've remarked on. Why did I say it - the good and the bad about stress is because when I look at it, if you have no stress, there is no challenge in what you do or in life. For example, if you have a stress and are able to handle it, there is a challenge in it as you (unaware of it) manage to solve a or your problem along the way. Does that make sense to you?

Stress has always have benefits for us. Due to stress we are challenge to do our best in our daily routine. If we have a very demanding boss, stress makes us to work harder to meet our boss' deadlines. If we are the breadwinner of the family, stress motivates us to earn more because we want to give a decent life to our family. If we are elected to be a leader in our school, stress gives us the strength to be always a good example to our colleague. Too much stress is bad. In general, anything in excess is not good for us. If we are under so much stress, it yields frustrations and worst can make us depress and withdraw from the reality. This is the reason we have mental patient. lol.

Stress could either be good or bad, depending on how you take it. If the situation is too stressful, it is not good for our health also. But sometimes stress could also develop our coping mechanism and tolerance making us more prepared for any future not so good challenges in life.

i share your opinion about some stress being good for you, such as a deadline or your trying to impress your employer with your work. this kind of stress can bring out peoples best work and motivate them to be better, too much stress however can have the opposite effect, it can be undermining to any work you are trying to get done, it can distract you from the task at hand and make you lose focus, causing the quality of your work to go down
