In this winter holiday ,I eat a lot of things without thinking of my weight. Now I am so regret for eating so crazy.I become fat.But I still want to wear beautifully.Losing weight is becoming the most important thing. All people regard doing sports is the best way to lose weight, but I think it is waste of time.Do more sports,I will eat more.So what about eating nothing? Is it a good way to lose weight?

Fasting or eating nothing is a great way to lose weight. The only problem is, as soon as you break the fast one tend to gain the weight back plus more. The best way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories and exercise more.

You can lose your weight by eating nothing, but even more - you can lose a life like that! Seriously, I don't think that such extreme diets are good for your health. I heard, that when you start eating again (after some time of starving), you'll start to gain weight even faster, than you were dropping it. So I suggest - try something else.

Eating nothing is the worst way to lose weight. Your metabolism will slow down and go into starvation mode. The best way to lose weight is to eat a sensible diet and count your calories and yes, you do have to exercise. You should weight train at least three times a week so that your muscles will burn more calories and you should do some sort of cardio exercise for 30 minutes every day. I just heard a new term on tv yesterday and it is normal weight obesity. It seems that there are people of normal weight who have such a high percentage of body fat that they are at risk for the same diseases that obese people are at risk of. Being thin isn't the only key. Being healthy is.

..Hi there PurpleSally, Eating nothing would not be a good way to lose weight. Your body needs food for energy, and for your brain to function properly. You would do yourself great harm, not to eat just to lose weight. You can lose weight by eating more, rather than less, but how you eat food and what you eat is the answer. If you eat eight or so mini meals during the day, drink at least eight glasses of water a day, reduce the salt, sugar, and white bread. You will lose weight. Do not lie down after you eat, you will gain weight that way. Exercise moderately, and your weight will decrease as you go. Take care, good luck.

As a nursing student I've learned that yes eating nothing will in fact help you lose weight, BUT it is NOT the healthiest way to lose weight. Some ways that I've learned to lose weight is by cutting out meats for a week or so, colon cleansers will help but it is not a diet pill type of thing it does exactly what its name says and will only drop a few pounds, counting calories based on your IBW (ideal body weight) which you can configure based on your height then convert it into kg multiply it by 30kg and you'll have the maximum calories you're supposed to be eating a day to maintain your IBW, and to lose 1lb. take out 500 calories from your diet, 2lbs. take out 1,000 calories from your diet, and so forth.

It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.

Eating nothing will not always help you lose weight. Your body will go into "starvation mode" and store all the fat. You need to eat properly and add a bit of exercise and you will lose weight. When you lose weight properly you will keep it off too!

As far as I am concenred, I think if you eat nothing, you will lose weight in the end.But at the same I think you will have a weak body yourself, too. So I do not suggest you should lose wieght by this way. I think the mostt healthy way to lose weight is take a lot of pratice and eat the healthy food.By this way , I think you will lose weight in the end.

No, is not a good way to lose weight. When you stop eating your metabolism stops working the way it should, and next time you eat something it will turn into fat as your body is trying to get some reserves just in case you don't eat again, so usually by skipping foods you can even gain weight.

The best way to lose weight is exercise and healthy diet. You can always check out mypryamid.gov for healthy diet information. In addition, daily exercise also help in burning body fat. I understand you may feel hungry after exercise; salad, fruit, low fat and high fiber snack always a good choice after exercise. As for diet, small portion size is a good idea. A nutrients' breakfast can also start your day with more energy. Eat normally for breakfast, smaller portion lunch, and then eat half full for dinner may also help! Good luck!

i don't agree.losing weight by eating nothing isn't a correct way,it will damage our body, especially it's bad for our stomach.moreover, eating nothing may result in serious illness.on the contrary, people losing weight need to eat a little, and do exercise appropriately,it's effective.

No, eating nothing is not a way to lose weight. A human body must consume a minimum of 1200 calories a day to maintain a healthy metabolism. That means if you eat less that that, your metabolism will become sluggish and instead of burning fat, your body will eat muscle tissue to stay alive. Muscle burns more calories than fat so losing muscle makes your metabolism that much more slower. To make a long story short, when you begin eating anything close to normal again, you will quickly put back on all of the weight you have lost and possibly more.

You will lose your weight by eating nothing, but it has health hazards. If you want to lose weight then just do exercise and eat normally.

No, you can actually harm yourself. What will happen is your body will go into starvation mode which would normally protect you if you had to go without food. This means that your body will try really hard to hold onto whatever calories you do put into it and eat your muscle tissue for energy. This is such a bad plan. According to statistics, you'll actually end up fatter than when you started. This is why anorexia really doesn't work as a weight loss strategy.
