I just started writing for them, and I'm new to their format. Has anyone here at mylot written for Suite101 before? Do you like it? Do you find the earnings to be better than other writing sites like AC and Helium? Any input on your experience would be great! Thanks!

I think suite 101 requires writers to apply and get approval. I tried once and never got approval from them. I would like to invite you to join other sites that will help you post previously published articles. So you get double income from your writing. Just send a message if you are interested.

I write for a number of sites including Suite101 and AC. I don't write for Helium because of their business model - it leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Suite is leaps and bounds above AC. I tested out 2 articles on AC versus 2 similar articles on Suite. The Suite earnings are low to be sure, but more than 3 times the AC earnings. Compared to other revenue sites that I'm writing on, Suite probably ranks 2nd or a close 3rd. Upsides - quality of the site, pay is good if your content is good, high editorial standards Downsides - editors can drive you a little crazy, time investment to publish, revenue share pay model I just started a blog to review freelance writing sites. I used to write for them - as a matter of fact, twice. They changed at one point and I quit, then went back and quit again. I wasn't used to be micromanaged and that's what they were doing, but you might get along with that. I think the potential to good earnings is there, but I don't think you can make any more than you can at AC or Helium. It depends on how hard you work and how consistent and involved you are. I would suggest that you try it. If you don't care for it or it doesn't seem to work, you can always quit.
