What color of ink in your pen do you prefer to use? :-)

Personally I wanted to use blue pens (instead of black) because I can easily see what I'm writing. I also sometimes use red for checking purposes since I am also a teacher. So what color of ink in your pen do you prefer to use and why?? ;-)

Hahahaha I agree. Black makes me sleepy, but sometimes it seems elegant and clean. Depends on the kind of ink I guess. :) Hahaha. I also love blue.. in fact I usually use blue ink :)

As much as possible, when I am writing something, like something that I would be documenting later on, I would prefer black ink. Its just a preference really, no reason to elevate its importance compared to other colored pens around there. I would even prefer pencils over pens, mechanical pencils anyway. If I just need to jot something down, any colored ink would do. When I have to check something, as I am an english instructor at work, I really prefer t use red ink or red lead to do my corrections (^_^ )

I'm not a teacher, but I typically write with "professionally-appropriate" colors like black and blue. Usually black, though. At home, though, like when writing to-do lists or writing in my planner (which I do often) I also usually stick with those colors just because those are the ones I have most often at home. Not to say I'm opposed to write with other colors. I in general just like NICE pens, ballpoints especially. I like being able to write easily with them. I won't write with like, glittery gel pens or anything that will give me a headache trying to read later, though

The only reason black and blue are considered "professionally appropriate" colors is because of an old scanning standard called Optical Character Recognition in which its able to pick up all aspects of the black ink when scanned. Some documents will ask specifically to write in Black or Blue ink(this reason being OCR). I posted earlier stating that I use a purple gel pen(Pilot G-3), that actually looks very nice on paper, while it does stand out against black lettering on the page there have been no complaints to this point. Now, while I won't be filing my taxes this year with a purple pen, I believe it's OK to use on most professional documents. You're right about the glittery pens though, definitely hard to read and should never have been sold. I can't even stand to look at them on sticky notes.

I prefer to use blue because it is my favorite color but since I'm working, black is the required colored pen in the workplace. No choice! I have to follow

I prefer using a black pen as I feel that it is stately and the most used color in writing. However, I normally have a red pen closest to me as I am a homeschool parent and I grade all papers in red.

most documents that needs to be filled out requires a blank inked pen. but if i would allow my kikay self to take over, i would love to use multi-colored pens. there are those that are combined. i love green and blue together. i used to have those type of pens back in high school. i wish i could have one again!

I prefer to use any color that is pretty and that stands out. I like colors that are exotic and shimmery. I like to use black ink. This ink looks great on papers when you write with it. And like you too, I like red ink too. I also like using purple, pink, green and orange ink too. I have some pens now that has these colors.

I prefer to use black since we use that for almost everything to not important stuff to important things. I see it as a handy tool since it is being used for important documents as well. Also, I like how it looks when you write on paper since it looks neater and more professional than the blue color.

Black and blue is fine with me. But between them, I prefer the color black more. I like it because it is more formal- like I can use it in any document signing or writing... I avoid using red pen or ink for there is connotation about it like you are mad or angry on the person if you sent something that is written in red ink. I only use RED ink for checking or putting asterisk marks...

I think I prefer blacK ink because feel it shows up more on the paper - I certainly don't avoid blue pens but, I tend to buy more black as also then I have them when I need them as a lot of forms that we fill out say 'please complete using black ink' so it makes it easier having black ink pens for that reason too!

I prefer to use black pen...because I think its the most universal color of pen...And in my opinion, black is more formal than blue especially when in the office. But I use blue pen sometimes when I have no choice.

I prefer using a classic blue ink. It allows me to easily distinguish printed text from written one, because printed text is usually black. I got used to blue ink since the first class and I'm still using blue pens. Although it wouldn't be a disaster if I had to use black one.

I am using both blue and black pen.. but I prefer black more since I find it formal and elegant.. I always have black pen in my bag since we are required to use black pens in filling up forms in our school., but I sometimes use blue in writing in my notebook and red pen in checking my classmates test paper ^^ happy mylotting

I usually use black ink in my pen because it is the only ink that is commonly used around school and offices but what I like the most is the red ink because it is brighter and u can easily read your penmanship using red ink but the problem is u can only use red ink during checking of test papers which is the only ink allowed to use during checking of papers. hehe it really depends on the person. hehe
