Are you afraid of GOD or GHOST?

Do you think that believing in god and ghost is a kind of blind superstition belief. My mother in my child hood days used to fright me by saying that if you do any wrong thing to others , god will come and poke your eyes.Did you here any kind of things before. I think if god is really there then must be ghost also. because they both are really not there.Is it confusing?? Are you afraid of ghost at least after watching horror movies like evil dead..

I believe in God, but not the kind of God who will come and "poke your eyes". I do believe that if we do wrong, at some point we will have the natural consequences of that wrong and bad things will happen to us. I respect and love God. Ghosts? Not sure if they exist, but I will not watch scary movies. I am not afraid, but I do not enjoy them.

I don't know who's that god who'll come down and poke our eyes. Maybe that's a supertitious belief or just an idiomatic expresion

This question is rather hard to answer. Let us first define fear of God. I remember that there is a part of the bible that says we should fear God but is it like how we fear the other things? I think that fear in God have a deeper meaning than that. Whenever I remember that the bad will go to hell, I too, fear God. However, If I think that there is nothing really fearful about God and that the fear of God is only a fear of heart breaking God for choosing the opposite (not fear to God directly) I have a peace of mind. As for ghost (even imaginary), I am also afraid of them.
