A dog was beaten by someone and one leg was broken. The dog was roaming aimlessly. It was getting sicken for want of food. In this circumstances the dog took shelter in the Nepal Red cross society's premises and there began voluntary service. When he saw the employees of the office and guests he did nothing. But he could recognize the trespassers and began to bark. At last the authority of the society employed the dog as a guard. The dog will get monthly cash salary.

that's great to hear. i guess the salary that he will get will be used for his food and accessories. i love it when people thinks of these very poor things... good thing they gave him a job.. at least he knows he is still needed by others.

Dogs are one of the most faithful and intellegent creatures in the animal kingdom. The smartness of the dog was that he took shelter in the Red Cross Society which is supposed to be a social workplace. The second was that he could recognise the staff and the tresspassers, so clever doggy got the job. Well done. I enjoyed this post pal. Keep it up.

I think this is great as there are alot of ill treated animals that in the end get put in dog shelters and are never rehomed.I have animals and it is a shame that the owners of all the mistreated dogs are not punished in one way or another as then perhaps people would think rather than act or better still never have pets if they do not care for them.Great news for the dog.
