Do you catch cold because of ice creams??

Last time when i ate ice cream i ate at night time, so my friends told me not to have more . but i took more ice creams and immediately the next day , i cought severe cold and running nose..
Every one tells me that its because of that ice cream that i suffered from cold.Is that true? Do you agree with it.
Have you experienced cold immediately after eating ice creams.

no.i wont get COLD bcoz of ice creams.and its the false assumption that when we eat ice creams we'll affected by Cold..

boomima i never get cold eating ice creams since i have a good physic .. more ice cream doesnt cause cold in most occassions ...

That may be a myth where you live, but it is not true. It is what you might call an old wive's tale. When I was young they used to say that getting out in the cold would give you a cold, but it does not. Enjoy your icecream, eat whatever makes you feel better while you are sick.

I dont agree that your colds was caused by ice cream. Colds are caused by a virus and maybe at that place where you were having the ice cream, the virus was there and your immune system was weak that's why you caught it. Or it could be that the virus is already in your body and was triggered when you ate the ice cream.

Thank God I don't catch cold because of ice creams. hehe! I love eating ice cream especially when the weather is so hot. Fortunately I never experience your situation but I believe it can make the cold worse if you've eaten too much. Only eat in moderation, no more no less :)
