Second Biggest Eating Day of the Year?????????

United States

I just saw a piece on television declaring that the second biggest day in the U.S. for consumption of food is Super Bowl Sunday. It only trails Thanksgiving. I would never have guessed that to be the case. Do you indulge in more eating on that day that most others?

Certainly more snacking on Super Bowl Sunday then any other time of the year. We always have a pretty big party with more food than normal on this day so I would probably eat more just because I like to try a little of everything.

Perhaps I should consider cutting the menu plans. LOL, nah, my family would not be happy if anything was missing from their Super Bowl party, guess I will just have to find some other way to work off that extra eating.

I knew that Thanksgiving was the top one. I do not watch the games, so we do not eat more on that day. I over eat too many days of the year and the holidays are worse.

Not really although I may make an exception for the game Sunday. Cause I sure want to see it; So, I may bring out the wings and things and have a good one. But to me, big eating days are THanksgiving and Christmas. Fourth of July; that kind of thing.
