Scott Brown is now officially the new junior Senator from Taxachuetts I mean Massachusetts, but really is this such a big deal. Granted from a history standards it is because a Republican replaced a Kennedy. Beyond history really is there are thing to get all worked up about this story. What I have been able to find, Brown is no small government type, just less government than what that seat is used too.

I agree with you. He is not a big conservative. He is not far right. He is just more conservative than Kennedy.
Which why the way...and a lot off topic...the news is really ticking me off. All I have heard all night is how "Brown now has Kennedy's seat". Well it was not EVER Kennedy's seat. It belonged to the staet of Massachusetts. They decided who they wanted to sit in that seat. But it never "belonged" to him.He never owned it.
None of those seats are owned by any of them. They are owned by the people of their state.

The real news is the Senate super majority has been broken up. Now at least a little bit of balance might be restored. One Senator isn't going to change things but he did shift the balance of power a little back to the center.
