So .. How do internet appear to you : As an active threat or something easy to deal ?
How do you protect yourself or how do you act when you discover a threat ?
Do you help others or just a small number of close friends ?

I know it is important to stay safe on the internet, especially if you use it for day-to-day activity such as internet banking, but I do think having an official day dedicated to internet safety is pushing it slightly.

Well, push or not, there are many aspects of "online safety" which are to be consider ..
for example children safe browsing .. identity teft ..
I don't say I am a fan of this day to exist and be celebrated, but I think most of everyday online users have no idea about this day ..

I feel safe on the internet, the way that I use it. I do not open things that I do not recognize, and I keep a variety of strong passwords. It is important for everyone to do what they can to be safe.

there are a lot of threats in the internet that we would get us crazy when our computer crashes. but i have some programs in my computer that protects me. i have an anti-virus, firewall is properly set, incoming emails are scanned by some programs too.

The internet is just like anyother aspect of life. It can be dangerous and it can be a door to possibilites and opportunities. Just living in today's world means you must be informed and aware of what's going on around you, even driving to the grocery store or attending a concert can be dangerous if you do not pay attention.
I refuse to be afraid, I try to keep myself informed and try to be careful whatever I do, online or otherwise.
