here in mylot why does this happen?

Well this happens all the time here, I am not surprised anymore .But the reasons why most people answer the "so called foolish discussions" is that probably they can relate to it, heheh! Anyway, as long as that person can share his or her views to it and does not disregard the rules here at mylot right? Most topics that are hot topics like beliefs, politics and so on are often times being passed just to play safe for most. Most of the time, topics are redundant here, but as I have said, it is the members decision which one to answer to and if they are also confident to answer the said question or topic.

Every question is important and every question needs a response. The question may not be important to some, but it is important to the one who is asking it. We live in a free country, it is our choice to respond or not to respond. Mylot has helped a lot of people because every mylotter has something to contribute. Through mylot, we get to hear about other people's ideas and opinions, we get to acquire new information and knowlege. No man is an island, we all need ach other. Each of us is special and we must respect that.

What is 'foolish'? I had a peek at the 'hot' topics right now and see nothing that I would define as such. I come here for fun and discussing politics and religion, for example, is not fun for me. I do not discuss them offline so I see no point in spending time discussing them here. Remember that not all Lotters have English as their first language and it is possibly easier for some of them to stick to the less complicated topics, though I would not define them as 'foolish' - just less intense maybe?

This is just my theory but my feeling is that the majority of myLot users come on here looking for a bit of fun and a way of making a bit of extra cash doing something which is quick and easy, nothing is wrong with that. For that reasons those discussion which appear to be easy, even a little simple prosper because they take little time to respond to. Whilst those discussions which require greater consideration seem to struggle because they take longer.

It is really hard to understnd why some will get more responses thaqn others, except that the ones that don't get many, are just not that interesting. Oh I ma sure that the ones who stared them thought they were interesting, as I have as well, and I don['t end up getting as many as i thought I would. There are some topics that I won't touch, especially the controversial ones, as they just cuse lots of arguing so I feel that it just isn't worth even bohtering going there and posting at all. You are right though, I have seem doscissopm tjat aren't all that great, had no substance, are not descriptive, and just not interesting at all, and yet they will 100's of repsonses. I don't understand it either, but it happens. That is one of the reason I don't start all that many, as I don't take rejection to well, and I am just wasting my time staring discussions, when not enough users are interested enough to post responses. Yes you are right here we find a lot of discussions who are very foolish but you will find many responses to this discussions.. i think every people want to earn more and more..so he don't think this discussions are meaningful or not.. but they respond to this.. so i think.. it's not matter for them .. thanking you and keep mylotting always..
