Gone are the days when lovers used to write love letters, its Mobile and SMS for all. I did not get such chance to write a love letter and now I convey my feelings using Mobile or internet. Did you get a chance to write love letter? If yes, can you share the content of the letter if possible ?

seaman - that has to be very exciting to be all around water. I know it would not be very good feeling for him as he might have spent too much time there but good to know that your love letter makes him inspired. Thanks for sharing this. be happy spread happiness :)

Who says love letters are gone? The only thing is gone is the paper! I just wrote a love letter, it was via email. The main thing is to tell the person how you feel. I do that all the time.

WRITING one must be made mandatory for schoolchildren with the end in view of knowing the mechanics of how a love letter is written and to help them develop their vocabulary. For old folks, just whisper to your love ones "I LOVE YOU" just as I do.

These 3 words are enough once you get your partner but before that we need to write love letter. good suggestion to include Love letter writing skill in our class material :)

wow i remember when i was in the university, i wrote a love latter to one girl i was asking out then, well let me give the content of the letter but please understand i am not going to use her real name becuase i included her name of the letter, the topic was my lovely and wily henrie. here it goes " once my quiver was full with arrows of love. But now none is left in my love quiver. I have kept on shooting arrows of love at my wily quarry, but none has hit target , neither has any arrows hit the right chord in its heart. i am now at my wits end as i have shot all my arrows of love and have tried all the old tricks in romance but all to no avail, So my baby girl henri, i am now at your mercy, treat me as you please. my heart is in your care."

Hi ajay, yes I had the chance to write LL to someone, do you want to know who she was, don't waste your energy to guess she is my wife now, when I wrote her LL she was fiance, I can't share the content universally but can tell you that I started my LL with "Dearest and only mine - her name" and end it with "Always with you - vishal". that's it.

Ajay, Although I am a child of the gadget generation I still write letters, and send gift packages through the mail. I also send long emails, and as of two weeks ago got rid of the text and multimedia function on my phone. My feelings are rich and they cannot be conveyed through these forms of media. Although mobile communication is the "it" thing right now, I guarantee the person in your life would be really excited to get a real handwritten love letter.

Good to hear that, otherwise I do not see people writing a letter on paper at least. Its all on mobile , chant and emails.

You know when i was still single,my husband is not used to give me flowers, chocolates & love letters...but when we got married,He went abroad...& you know He always sent me love letters, cards, stuff toys & chocolates...it's just short caring & sweet words... i love you..i miss you... i care for you. I ask Him why now???...He replied: because no one can take you away from me...that's why i'm doing this.

little steps makes our life easier and make us feel happy. writing a love letter is such a good thing that we should always be doing. repeat these words like I love you, I care for you very often in life they are short with many strong and lovely meanings. Be happy :)

Contents must be almost similar to what a young man/women can think of. Its common to miss each other while being away. I am sure letter writing has gone far away after SMS, emails and other technologies coming into existance. Thank You for the response. Take care Sir.
