Do you like to eat the sock when you just have nothing to do?

Hi ,my friends, do you like to eat sock when you just have nothing to do? What kind of sock do you usually eat?
As fara as I am concerned, IIIIIIIIIII seldom eat sock in my daily life. But actually, when I am just sitting before the computer and watch some movies, I think , at that time, I will take some sock in my hand ,which I can both enjoy the movie and enjoy the sock ,too. I really that way to eat sock.
How about you? Do you usually eat sock often?

I'm not sure what you mean. In the United States, where I'm from, we don't have an expression called "eating the sock." However, I'm very curious as to what this actually refers to.

hi,cripfemme, do you kmow the sock has another meaning which means that it is just like something like junk food,which we will eat at some special situation,when we have nothing to do .At that time, we will eat the junk food to kill the time .Or we can watch TV or listen to some music while we are eating the so called sock.I mean not the sock taht we wear on our feet.

Hi, I learned a new expression today. We would say "have a snack". I do not snack much, except I do like to drink coffee. We all do think of snacking when we watch movies or television. This is why the computer is better for me, I do not snack when I am on the computer. Thanks for this new expression.
