Having your ex be your best friend...

Me & my boyfriend just broke up just last 2 weeks and I have to admit he did hurt me through and through but all the way he made me realize that things are not suppose to be the way it has to be. I did find out that he wasn't really in love with me. He tried but guess friendship was all he could give me. I hated him last week but come to think of it now I really did appreciate his efforts of our relationship. He does not want to forget about me and does want to make friends with me in spite of it all. Day by day he text me as if everything was all okay so I'm kinda feeling easy out of it and started realizing his my true best friend all the way. He did hurt me at most times but most of the time he does made me smile. I did come to a decision that we ought to never forget everything about us even if for him I'm just his bestfriend. It does hurt me but I think I'd be able to get through being this than ending up forgetting him and just waste our 2 years relationship together. Maybe we"re just not meant to be and maybe we're just best friends.

I could not remember anymore when was the last time I was in a relationship

But all I could remember was that when I got to chance to talk to an ex of mine, I told him thank you for being a part of my life because the whole relationship made me a better and stronger person. The funny thing was, all he said was, "You are not welcome". My initial reaction was I gave a boisterous laughter when I heard it.
The good thing is that I have moved on and I am still thankful of the relationship.
Oh by the way, the break up did not come from me.

Not really. I did open to him once if he is willing to get back to me. He said he's more comfortable now that we're not attach. When he said that I kinda felt a little bitter but he is trully right. I like it better this way that I don't think about him a lot and about us. Probably he said that coz he does not really love me as much I expect him to love me but I like it better this way though. I don't have to worry about anything at all.

My wife and my ex are now friends. Long story short, my ex and I have a son together and we were together for a long time but it just did not work out. Now somehow my wife and her have become friends and they talk on facebook, myspace and even on the phone. When my wife and I got married she invited her to our wedding and she did come to share our moment with us. My wife and ex did not ever know each other in the past, its just from us having a son together and this has been strange because they get along so well.

That's really nice story. It's so rare that you
can find ex and wives get along well. You should
be very proud of your wife because she accepted
all of you including a very cute package. She never
ran away with your past instead she embraced it with open
arms.
If I was in that kind of situation. I would have drowned
from depression. I would have broken up with my husband.
I'll never forget your story because it's gonna inspire me
and learn to accept and not worry to much.

yeah.. its quite awkward at the start but I like it better this way than ending up hating him. I just can't hate him because he had made me felt great at some points of our relationship..
