I like the ones from "The Sound of Music." I also like the songs from "Cinderella" especially the one where she sings, "All alone in my corner, in my own little chair, I can be whatever I want to be. . .." I liked the one on "Lion King" when the cub was born. So what are your favorites?

I like alot of the war (Vietnam) movies because of the music sound track. There was a movie on just the other night that I had seen before but was just catching it again and the soundtrack was great. Don't remember the movie. I think Grease was good too. Can't think of any others.

I like quite a bit of the Rogers and Hammerstein music. I like lots of stuff from South Pacific and Oklahoma, I'll sing (when I'm alone or nearly so) snatches from other bits of musicals - "Maria! I've just met a girl named Maria!" you know, stuff like that "Oh what a beautiful MORNING!"

The song in South Pacific - "Some Enchanted Evening" seemed to be like the song that described my parent's meeting. My dad saw my mom across a crowded room (in this case the dining room at her dorm) where he worked in the kitchen.

He did have some beautiful ones, didn't he? I've watched Oklahoma many times. I had not seen South Pacific until after I met my husband. So that one has a special meaning to me, too. Thanks and take care.

I like the song from the end of "The Running Man", but I can never find it. I've looked. I also like the song from "Love and Basketball" where Monica and Q are playing one on one for his heart. There's one line in that song (which again I don't know the title of) where the singer says, "does she want you with the pain that I do?" I think that line is very poignant. If you've seen the movie, you'll understand.

I've never seen those movies.Without the titles, I don't know if I've heard the songs, but the pain that I do doesn't sound familiar. Have you tried Youtube and theme from the Running Man as a search?

It's beautiful. Faith Hill does have a wonderful song there. The Sound of Music is a movie about an Austrian family that has problems, resolves them with the help of a beautiful young lady, and flees Austria before the Germans can capture them. The music in it is wonderful.

My favorite music is from the movie Anastasia. The movie was made by Warner Brothers, I am pretty sure. Unfortunately, my daughter and I used to watch this movie about eight years ago so I don't remember any of the songs by name.
