I have my reasons for loving Valentines Day - - how about YOU? People celebrate it from the flambuoyant to the romantic to just remembering a passed love. How about YOU?

It's sad but I am going to spend valentines day alone. My boyfriend is far from me and we have this Long distance relationship. We were able to spend valentines day together last year though but this year, it's gonna be just me. Maybe we'll just spend it while talking on the phone. No roses, no chocolates, no greeting card...poor me.lol.

Valentines day is one of my favorite days of the year. The reason being that Ive known my girlfriend that I am with now since high school so we had so many special Valentines days together. For me personally, I am not as happy when I have no one to share the special occasion with so I am so happy to be with someone I'm in love with.

valentines day for me is more or less just another sunday as I am a widow stuck here in this retirement center and its safe but boring, I have just said goodbye to my son as he is back on his way to his own apartment which is just a couple of miles from here. I like valentines day but for an elderly long time widow with out a hubby or love interest it doesn't mean a heck of a lot to me. I will mylot, take a nice warm bath tomorrow evening with my favorite lotions listen to a lot of Mozart and I will be happy by myself. I had a nice long visit with my son tonight so am happy now, and will be happy t omorrow t oo. I am too old for romance anyway as I had a long and wonderful marriage, so those memories are sweet. We all exchanged gorgeous valentines when myhusband was alive. this is aday for young love and some good chocolate too.he he.
