you can't leave home without?

when you're getting ready for school, work or just plain going out, what's one thing you absolutely can't leave home without? (aside from the essentials like house keys, wallet, cellphone, credit cards). For me, one thing I can't leave home without wearing my contact lens. I have a poor eyesight so I definitely couldn't see well and function well without these. Another is my watch. I feel so bare and incomplete without my watch. I'm a little time conscious and the kind of girl who doesn't want to wait or be waited on. So it's really important for me to always wear my watch. How about you guys, what's one thing/things you can't leave home without it? (pls. disregard the obvious essentials like clothes, shoes, money, cellphone)

The only things I can't leave home without are my keys (can't start car or get back in when I return). I have often left home without the other "essentials" you mention though I doubt I would get very far without shoes. I don't wear a watch; my phone tells me the time. I only need money if I am going someplace I will spend it and then only if I am going someplace that doesn't take cards. I guess my life is simple in that way.

hmm there is actually nothing that i can't leave home without. that is of course excluding the items you've mentioned. the things i must have with me is only my mobile phone and my wallet. anything that can be replaced easily will not be a must to bring out. that said, i carry a huge bag when i go out. things inside include my cardholder with all the discount cards, my coin purse, my working pass, some vouchers and tissue paper. sometimes i even carry my laptop with me if i know there is going to be an extended period of time where i have nothing to do.

Have to have my house keys and body spray. I take a blanket in the car for days when it is cold, especially if I have to go out early. I have a watch inside my purse because the one in the car gains so much I can never be sure of the time. I have to have my sunglasses because even if it isn't sunny out they keep my hair out of my face.

You named almost everything that I could leave home without but one thing that comes to mind that I could not leave without is my glasses because I need them to drive or read.

Well, i think the essentials I named are the most common and I'm sure to get a lot of answers like that. so I want to know some unique things a person can't leave without, aside from the essentials. Thanks for sharing! ;)

Well, I think you have mentioned everything already that I usually would bring along. Perhaps the only thing I can think of is my key to the office. Obviously, I cannot open my office if I do not have the key with me.

I cannot leave home without my lip balm. Since I go in and out of the office my lips get chapped so it is always advisable to have my lip balm handy. I love my minty lip balm because it eases my lips from being so dry and chappy.

Yeah, it's a handy thing to carry around especially these days. I usually get chapped lips, so it's a good idea to bring my lip balm with me. thanks for sharing!

I can't leave home without a book in my bag.Obviously I have a huge bag or I would never fit everything I need. The book is for those long boring bus trips.I don't like to put my new books in my bag coz they get bent and dented so I always take books I don't mind getting damaged.

well, that's unique, I only knew a few people who would leave with books in their bags. But it's a nice idea, especially to kill time or boredom while waiting for someone or having those long trips. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Princess, Here our friends have mentioned almost everything. So I guess I should note down a list compilation. 1. Clothes (As obvious element by you) 2. Cellphone (As obvious element by you) 3. Money (As obvious element by you) 4. Shoes (As obvious element by you) 5. Spectacles 6. Office key 7. Hand Kerchief (Added from my side) 8. The access Card to get in side my office 9. Vehicle 10. Vehicle key (Silly but important) 11. Jecket And then as per different profession wise Doctor will name stethoscope Lawyer will name his coat IT Professional will name his laptop Here in Ahmedabad, 95% of girls wear the Hand Gloves and Mask (Use their Dupattas as Mask) to get protected from pollution and sunlight. Now a days I have to wear the spectacles, but earlier to it I never go out of my home without my Goggles. If some one want to add something to it, they are heartily invited.

besides the essentials, i too agree with the watch. you reminded me. like you, i feel so bare without it and won't be able to tell the time as well. i always keep looking at my watch to check the time. besides the watch, i need an umbrella wherever i go. it's just for safety reasons like some might say. just in case, you'll never be more happier to have an umbrella with you then. there were some days that i forgot to put in my umbrella when i went to school or go out, and on that day, as if the skies knew, it would rain cats and dogs-_- i'd be beating myself up then. other than this, i can't seem to remember except for tissues which are a must for me. i have kids and not only that, sometimes i'm prone to having a runny nose all of a sudden.

I can't leave the house without my purse. Which seems kind of strange since a few months ago I lost my purse. I guess that's why I can't leave it behind now. I also have to have my jewelry on. I really love my jewelry and it's important for me to have it on.

Well, you've named almost everything that I have on my person when I leave the house as the essentials. The only other thing that I find that I can't leave home without is a little pouch with some diapers and wipes in it. The reason that this is such an essential for me is that it is always my son that is with me, but there are also times that I have my nineteen month old niece with me as well and I have to have clean britches in case of accidents.

Well, my friend. The thing (aside from clothes, shoes, keys, wallet, money, cellphone, watch etc.) that I can't leave home without prior to going out is my USB flash drive. Wherever I go, wherever I stay I don't leave home without it and it has proved important for me. Because sometimes such has happened that I've got an opportunity to have some important digital information and I took it in my USB flash drive. I always keep it with me in case something I can collect. Have a nice day.

Hi onlyprincess. I can't leave home without my jacket or my scarf. I like the feeling of having something keeping me warm, although its pretty hot around my country. I wear glasses but my eyesight is not that bad and I don't drive so I'll usually just keep in somewhere in my bag. I can't leave home without my watch too. Its really important, or else I'll loose track of time. Have a nice day!
