I wonder what happened to......?

ronadlinu oh yes I think that happens to a lot of us.we make friends here and follow their lives then suddenly boom they just disappear. then I wonder was she ill, did she get tired of mylot, what happened to him, He used to answer all my discussions but I knew he had some other problems, so wonder if he just left or what? But sometimes I get pleasantly surprised when one of my friends suddenly pops up again.

I was looking through my friends list and I thought I hadn't heard from my friend in a long time. I didn't delete her because I thought , I hoped she would come back and one week later, she returned. We picked up where we left off.

Hi ronaldinu, When I first joined mylot, I had made a friend here, he made me laugh with his discussions and then he was gone, he was from Canada and travelled a lot, he has not been on the lot for a year now and I have missed him, hope that one day he will come back and remember me. Tamara

Hey ronaldinu! There have been alot of missing mylotters lately! I do know that a whole bunch of them are over on Facebook! Some of them do drop by now and then! You were missing for quite awhile too! It's nice to see you back too! I worry about some of my friends when I don't see them for awhile. In fact, I am worried about when of my friends over in England at the moment and am planning to email her to see if she is alright!

This often happens I'm afraid. A lot of my original friends have been banned from Mylot. Some have decided to give up on it and have gone elsewhere. I came to a point where there weren't any discussions that really interested me, for a while, and somebody invited me to FB. I've made a whole bunch of new friends on there, and really enjoy my time playing games with them, and picking up on the local village gossip, from real-time friends. Also, a lot of Mylot friends have gone over to FB, so I seem to "re-find" them. I come back to Mylot every so often though, for two reasons really. The first is because I miss the chats on here, with friends who haven't move over to FB, and the second, because I don't want to be away for three months and lose my account. I still love Mylot, and will always come back here unless health issues or catastrophes prevent me. Brightest Blessings my friend. We are all around somewhere... or the majority of us, anyway.

I too miss some of my friends which were here regularly a few months ago...we had good discussions and exchanges of ideas, but now they don't seem to be here.... yes, i keep wondering, what must be going on in their life, what they must be going through etc etc...i felt like seeing some good people, like a lady from Philippines was very good friend of mine, she appears sometimes in between but then again gets busy in her life, i wish i could meet some good people here....

Hello, I dont really have friends here much that worry or wonder where I have been like you worry about ur friends. These weeks, I felt like lazy and dont want to be here... and stuck with playing game on facebook. lolz, and now i get bored of it and I have to come back and keep tracking what I left.

MYlot members are coming and going far too fast to keep track on what's really happening to them.. haha =D MOst of the old timers are already gone, or no longer as active like before.. Even though there are alot of newbies now, but there are not active as well.. Just look at the amount of post they have, how many of them, are able to get past 2000 or more?? haha =D I know most of my friends in mylot, are busy with their real life, and jobs now.. Some have got new jobs, some got a baby, while some are studying too.. hehe

Hi Ronald, At the moment I try to be here as frequently as possible but have another site that am admin on and that takes up a lot of my time so guess if my face is missing by anyone that is the reason why, thing is I love myLot and would love to be here more often but it is like being torn between the devil and the deep blue sea so really never know who is here out of my friends and who isn't...LoLo

Hi, ronaldinu! It is great to see you! I wonder the same thing too. It is a member here that I enjoyed talking to. She was like a grandmother to me. Her name was faith210. I have not heard from her in a while. I think that she has been away for about eight to nine months now. Maybe even a little longer than that, I think. I miss her. I hope that she is okay. I have no other way of contacting her except through myLot. I do wonder what happened to many people. I hope that they will just pop back up at myLot soon!

I know it is easy to sometimes wonder about people you have not seen for a while,and I know there are some mylotters who I have not seen in a while especially people on my friends list,and I know there are friends online I used to role play with that I have not seen online in years,and I wonder where they are,and there friends I went to school with that I have not seen since I graduated that I wonder where they are and a few of them I have seen at Wal Mart,and I have seen a few people several times so that is one thing I like about working at Wal Mart it allows me to see old friends again.

yes i have wondered about a few. one i was concerned with, only to find out that for some reason she was mostly working at another site most times and had took time off to move, then when she came back, she just wasnt responding to any of my discussions. i guess she just didnt find any of mine interesting but she was fine

Haven't you answered your own question...seems to me that you took a long hiatus here...and I tracked you down? I had truly missed seeing your discussions, and truly hoped that I would find you happy and healthy....so after wondering for a long time...I PM'd...and am glad you are back with a vengeance! Yeah sometimes I wonder what happens to people, I know there was one on here that I used to see all the time, I always responded to their discussions, but here lately I haven't seen them, in fact its been a long time since I've seen them on here. I guess some people just have other things to do, like me, I don't get on here like I used to either, I try to at least once in awhile.

yes, i also think about this, most of the time. i always wonder what happened to my referrer, as she was the one who invited me here. we were both active for two years. and then suddenly, she gone inactive for a long time now. but i am still hopeful that one day, she will be back. sometimes, i also wonder, what happened to my friends in school, my classmates, and where are they now. some i found on facebook, and i have learned that they are already living in the foreign lands, trying to cope with the financial difficulties. some are now living happily with their own families. and some still singles, and will remain singles, i guess. i also wonder, what is happening with my dad. i know he is living together with his new family. but how is he doing now? what happened to him, that he doesn't bother to even send a text message to me.

Yup I often wonder what happened to some of the regulars that seem to be missing in action, the only thing I can figure is that maybe life happened and they just dont have time to post anymore, or ether they just lost interest in posting here. For the last few weeks I've been wondering about one my mylot friends whom I haven't seen here in a while she has kids so she probably cant find the time to post and I totally understand but I still hope to see her soon.

I'm just a newbie here in myLot so I don't know that many people yet but I can think of a reason why they just disappear. One is what you already said maybe they were sick or taking care of their family. Second is maybe they have better things to do in life just like you said also. Third is maybe they found something more interesting to spend their time. Fourth is maybe they are just too busy to post on myLot. Well the second, third and fourth reason maybe connected.
