Is "swapping downline" an effective referral builder?

I think this can be effective. If the people
you work with, are truthful people. Also if
they are not already members of the sites,
you want them to join, and if you are not a
member of their sites. If you and
they are truthful about using the sites,
and making money. You can not just join.
Happy posting.

I only like swapping downlines with people that I have talked to a few times. I really need to know that they are a real person and not just talking up their sites so they can earn money. I need to know that the person who is referring me to another site is real, and has been paid before. It's really hard to legitimately have your downlines grow over night. I blog a lot, so I try to talk about the sites I use through there, in hopes that someone will want to join under me. I have learned that the more one talks about downlines and earning on the internet, the less serious other people take them. I earn a decent amount online these days, and I have pretty much quit relying on others to join under me. Although it would be nice, and I would be open to swapping downlines, I am more concerned with the websites that pay the most and that I don't need someone elses help in order to cash out.
